I have been longing to watch Twilight since it opened in cinemas last week. But due to my hectic schedule these past few days, I was only able to see it last Tuesday. What a shame! Hahaha!
So what can I say? I know most of us have heard or seen a lot of reviews saying that the movie is not that good compared to its book, which is the case most of the time right? But coming from someone who hasn’t read the book yet, I definitely loved the movie! I’m sooo loving it that I plan to watch it again with my friends who have watched Twilight already! Some consider it a chic flick, probably because of the love story going on throughout the movie. But I wouldn’t categorize it as such. It is like a modern day Romeo and Juliet because of the forbidden love between a vampire and a human. The story is very interesting and if you are one of those who love to watch romantic movies, I am 100% sure Twilight will surely melt your heart.
And as for the casts’ acting, there are some critics saying that they, particularly Bella Swan played by Kristen Stewart and Edward Cullen played by Robert Pattinson, acted somehow badly. Well, I’m here to defend them! Aside from the fact that I’m such a fan of Edward, I really think that the way they acted is what their characters are asking for. Hello, Edward is a vampire and as for Bella, she is just new in town therefore we shouldn’t expect them to be sociable and lively!
Conclusion: I rate Twilight 5 out of 5!
Oooh, I can’t wait for part 2, New Moon. But as of now, I’d grab a book of Twilight first. People say that if I’m in love with Edward now, I would want to marry him when I read the book! LOL!!!
P.S. Can you keep a secret? I’m sooo head over heels in love with Edward! I’m sooo getting crazy about him! Ooops, I think I just announced it to the whole world… Hahaha! Look at where my obsession brought me…
