My Shu Uemura loot from Hong Kong did not stop with the eyelash curler, which I shared in my previous post. Since Shu Uemura is way cheaper in Hong Kong, I should make the most out of my possible”savings,” right? Hehehe! πŸ™‚

Anyway, just before I left for Hong Kong, a friend of mine told me about this Shu Uemura 2-Way Fundation. I heard that Shu Uemura is great for asian skin, so it definetely is worth a try. πŸ™‚ I purchased my Powder Foundation (the case and the refill) for HKD 310, which is around Php 1,860. If I’m not mistaken, the case together with the refill is sold here for Php 2,500- quite a huge difference. Don’t you think?

So far, I’m liking this PowderFoundation of Shu Uemura. It has full coverage and it takes a while before my skin gets oily. I do not need to retouch every now and then, unlike when I use Bare Escentuals. I don’t know if it’s just me and my friend, but whenever we use Bare Escentuals, our skin becomes extremely oily after a few hours. Bare Escentuals is definitely nice when applied initially, but it is not something we could really wear all day. Maybe it’s also because of the humid weather here in the Philippines, but Bare Escentuals easily melts after a few hours. On the other hand, the Shu Uemura 2-Way Foundation is longer lasting, which is probably a better choice for asian skin. So for those going to Hong Kong any time soon, don’t forget to grab this one beauty must-have! πŸ™‚
