My Outfit on the Eve of my Birthday

Last week, I added another year to my age. Darn! Why is it when you are young, you wish you were older, but when you get to your twenties, you just wanna go back to your teens?! Hehehe! Well, that’s life!

Anyways, let me start on the eve of my birthday. I had dinner at Mezzaluna, which I will be sharing in my next post. As for what I wore that day, I just have to share it as I promised to post here the dresses I’ve been buying in my recent trips. So read on…

Honestly, there is nothing really spectacular with what I wore. It’s just that I love purple dresses!  My purple dress I wore that day looked a bit plain, but the detail in the mid section of the dress, plus its low neckline, made it looked so classy. I’d say, this dress is sooo KAT! Hehehe! Well, it is in fact being sold by KAT right now. It’s also available in black. Pictures are not available though, so for now, I’m assuming the responsibility of being the model of KAT. Bwahahaha! Anyway, enough of my shameless plug! Sorry about that. Going back, here are some photos of last week. I also took a picture of the detail of the dress. I have to say, the picture is uber ugly! LOL! I wanna throw my digicam! Well, for now, please be patient with it. The color is actually dark purple and not the Barney kind of purple. Hehehe! Just click on the photos to make them bigger.

Hmmm… I honestly feel I’m not too dressed for the occasion. I went to work that day so I decided to wear something appropriate in the office as we have a “business attire” dress code. On second thought, it’s still something I could wear in after office nightouts, so it’s definitely way better than just wearing a regular trouser and long sleeves top. I’m tired of that already! Hehehe! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that the bottom part of the dress is like a latern skirt, which adds form to the dress.  I like! Also, if you noticed, I wore a black tube since the neckline of the dress is way too low…. definitely not allowed in the office! Sorry, the important details are not that obvious in the pictures. I have very few photos that night. I wasn’t in the mood to pose in front of the camera. Hehehe! I wasn’t even able to take close-up pictures of my entire outfit. It’s only now that I realize! Darn! Next time… Well, I just wanna give you guys an idea what I wore that day. And of course, I need to debut the fashion finds I got in my recent trip. As promised, I’ll be posting them one by one everytime I get the chance to wear them.

For a closer look- On me is the purple dress from KAT; black shooties from Janilyn; purple crocodile skin bag I got in Korea; Tag Heuer watch; Louis Vuitton diamond bracelet (a birthday present from dear momski); purple swarovski bracelet from Europe; Bvlgari necklace; and amethyst earrings, which can’t be seen in the picture because of my hair (sorry ’bout that!).
