There are several reasons why I’m extremely loving London. For the two weeks I’ve been here in London, walking around the city every single day made me realized I wanna live here. Hehehe! πŸ™‚

One. I don’t feel that Arthur is away. I have my mind set on something else. In short, I have been busy (hehe). I just feel I’m on my annual vacation and he’s just in Manila. πŸ™‚

Two. I feel so at home. I’m used to condo living. I personally love living in a condo. It suits my busy and on-the-go lifestyle. I also feel I’m in a hotel all the time so I find that very relaxing.Β  This is why I find my flat the best, better than staying in a hotel since everything I need is here. Hehehe! πŸ™‚

I have my cozy bedroom. I especially love the bed as I feel I’m lying down on huge cotton balls. Hehehe!

Oh, and I have my kitchen! Well, this one is not so useful to me. My parents and I would rather buy food, even if it costs too much! I never thought that food here is way too expensive! Geeesh!

Well, just a short story. My mom attempted to cook spaghetti on our second night. She first decided to cook the noodles. She kept on asking me and dad how to do it, but hello, how the hell would we know?! We are such a flop when it comes to cooking! The next thing I learned, my mom cooked the spaghetti like an instant noodles!!! πŸ™‚ She placed the noodles in a bowl and poured hot water in it! Oh dear! As expected, the noodles were not cooked so we just tried to put it on the stove and waited for it to boil. Gosh! Oh, I haven’t even told you how my mom did the sauce for the spaghetti. Well, it was just straight out from the can! Hahaha! Heat it for a while, and that’s it! See why we love eating out?! πŸ™‚

The very next day, we did not attempt to cook anymore, obviously! πŸ™‚ We ate at a restaurant beside my flat and my gosh, food is like hotel-price when converted to Philippine Pesos. Nevertheless, we would rather eat in a restaurant than cook in the kitchen. I wasn’t able to take pictures of what we ordered since it’s not allowed. We ordered foccasia for our appetizer and 2 pastas. So how was the “million dollar” food? Gross! πŸ™ My mom ended up not even eating! Their Ravioli is so vegan! I’m used to the Ravioli with some meat in it. The other pasta we ordered is just full of zuccini and spinach! Waaaah! I want seafood or meat! Sorry, I’m not hating vegans. (Cris, peace…. Hehehe!) I’m just not a vegetable person. Eeeek! Bad, I know! Hehehe! I sometimes eat, but it’s not something I like. More of just a need. Hehehe! πŸ™‚

Oooops sorry, I know I said short story. Hehehe! But simple experiences such as this makes my stay here a lotΒ  more fun. Hehehe! πŸ™‚

Oh did I mention that my flat has a washing machine? Well, this should have been perfect since I brought very few clothes as I want to travel light. The problem is, I don’t know how to operate it! I haven’t attempted to use it. Nobody dares! My mom doesn’t wanna try since she once did the laundry when we were in my brother’s house in Sanfo. It was a disaster! Some clothes shrank, while some had discolorations. Hahaha! My mom’s solution- just buy clothes! Well, I wouldn’t say no. Who am I to complain?!?! Hehehe! πŸ™‚ Which sort of justifies my shopping… LOL! πŸ™‚

Ooooh, the only thing I hate about this flat is there is no internet! πŸ™ Errrr… Isn’t internet is already like a staple?! Everybody uses it! I can live without television. Just give me an internet connection!!! But anyways, I didn’t have any choice. I paid for an internet connection and boy, it is damn so expensive! It’s around Php 4,000 a month! Argh! I should have gotten a lot of clothes with that money! Soooo annoying! πŸ™ But nevertheless, I still have to love my flat ‘cuz I just learned it costs 650 pounds + VAT per WEEK! So that’s about Php 50,000 a week… Goodness! Then, I should really say that my flat is the best! LOL!

Anyway, going back…. (sorry, such a long commercial, I know… LOL!)

Third. The people here are just so friendly. Everyone is just so nice to me (ummmWell, of course, nothing beats the hospitality of Filipinos I guess. Hehehe! πŸ™‚ Well, I just never expected this treatment from them.

Last but not the least. Of course, the city. I love everything about London. πŸ™‚ The gothic-like architectures are the best. I have always loved the victorian gothic bulidings. I like it more than the modern ones, which explains why I love Europe. This is probably the reason why I like walking around here. I L-O-V-E it here! πŸ™‚ Sure I will post about the places I’ve been to soon. *wink*

Awwww… London is now like a darling to me… Hehehe! πŸ™‚ This city now has a special place in my heart… I would definitely want to go back to my darling. πŸ™‚
