I’m still alive…

Yes, I’m still alive!

I was supposed to do some posts over the weekend but my internet was down! Argh! Well, at least it left me without any choice but to leave my flat early and enjoy my last weekend here in London. icon smile Im still alive... Let me first rewind and share what I have been up to. icon smile Im still alive...

Last Friday, I went to this halloween party in one of the chic bars in the city. Thanks to Ronn, the cousin of my dear friend Carla! icon smile Im still alive...  And since I didn’t expect that I’ll be going to a halloween party here, I just used whatever I have with me. The easiest costume that I can come up with- rocker chic it is! Hehehe! icon smile Im still alive... Good thing I brought my leather jacket, liquid leggings and studded belt with me. Plus, it was so timing since the week before, I bought this shirt with blings at Miss Selfridges. icon smile Im still alive... And to finish my rocker chic look, I had to wear my boots and smokey  eyes make-up. icon smile Im still alive... As much as I wanted to share how I looked that night, I don’t have any pictures!!! Waaaah! icon sad Im still alive...  The only pictures I had that night is the girl doing the pole dancing in the club! Yesss, part of the halloween party presentation in that club was the pole dancing! Guys surely enjoyed that show. Hahaha! icon smile Im still alive... But seriously, she was really, really good!!! Anyhoo, I enjoyed partying here, but not as much as in Manila. Hehehe! And my gosh, alcohol is just way expensivo!!!! One beer is GBP 7 so that’s about Php 500!!! I spent GBP 40 that night- no food or cocktails… only beer. Whew! And I just learned that to get to sit on their couches, you must order at least GBP 500! Wow! If I remember it right, you just need to spend at least Php20,000 in Embassy to get to reserve a table. GBP 500 is like half of the price of a bag already! Hahaha! icon smile Im still alive... Good thing Ronn has good connections as we were able to sit on those “gold” couches! Hahaha! Well, that night was memorable as I was to experience the night life in London. My 40 bucks is all worth it! icon smile Im still alive...

Saturday was my shopping day. I actually declared it as my last shopping in London. Hahaha! icon smile Im still alive... And the best part is I was alone shopping! My friends here went on a tour, which I already joined when I first got here, so I just opted to shop alone. Geeesh! Just realized it’s bad for me to shop alone! Hahaha! I think I was able to walk the whole stretch of Oxford Street and Regent Street! It was indeed a shopping spree for me, which is why I shall be banned from shopping for one quarter… It’s my promise to myself. icon smile Im still alive... (But aren’t promises meant to be broken? Bwahahaha!)

Sunday was a relaxing day for me. Well, not really “relaxing” as my officemates and I walked the whole day. We ate in different restaurants, those that we have been planning to try since we got here. Hehehe! And we went to the different parks around… I like!!! icon smile Im still alive... It’s officially fall… Leaves are turning yellow and red. I super love it! The parks we went to are just picture perfect! icon smile Im still alive... Haaaay….

Now that I’m leaving really soon, I’m beginning to feel sad and happy at the same time. Well, happy because I’ll be seeing all my friends again and eat all kinds of food I have been craving for. Sad because I’ll surely be missing everything in this lovely city. My weekdays, my exciting weekends (of course), my long walks, my tube rides, my side trips after office (hehehe)… EVERYTHING! icon smile Im still alive... After living here for almost two months, I would definitely be back. I seriously heart london. icon smile Im still alive... I’m just so in love… I might leave my heart here… Hehehe! Haaay… I’ll miss this place but I shall return! icon smile Im still alive...
