About four months ago, I wrote my review on IN2IT’s Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen. I was really happy with it. My liner doesn’t smudge and it really is long lasting. 😀 Now that it’s starting to dry up, I thought of trying out another eyeliner of IN2IT, the Waterproof Gel Liner. I’ve read in Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual that gel liners are the most smudge-free eyeliners- something I really need since I always have watery eyes. I have started using the gel liner I just bought, so how was it?

Pros

It’s smudge-free, waterproof, long wearing, and dries up quickly!

IN2IT’s Waterproof Gel Liner also comes with a sharpener.

And best of all, it has a very competitive price even if it’s made in Germany.

Yup, I just got this for PHP 379.75 at Watsons. 😀

Cons

Since it’s a gel liner in a form of a pencil, I have to sharpen it every now and then. Unsharpened eyeliner gives me crooked and uneven thick lines. I love wearing thick eyeliners on my lids but I want it straight and shiny- something quite hard to achieve with IN2IT’s Waterproof Gel Liner. Well, you can, but as I said earlier, you really have to sharpen it every now and then. Before you know it, the liner is as small as your thumb already. LOL! 😀

I still did not regret buying the Waterproof Gel Eyeliner of IN2IT. Why? I have discovered a way to achieve those perfect lids- solid thick shiny black lids! My dilemma with liquid eyeliner is that the brush or pen has very fine tip applicator that I have to do several strokes to make the lids look fuller and thicker. Since I have unstable hands, I tend to draw crooked lines in the process of stroking the brush/ pen back and forth. I have a tendency to be very O.C. (obsessive-compulsive) when it comes to this. LOL! So now, to make things easier for me, I use my Waterproof Gel Liner first, which can give me thick lids in just one or two strokes. Then, I use my Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen on top of it by just following the line I created using the gel liner. This step makes the line straight, solid and even. It also gives that shiny dramatic effect, which only liquid eyeliners can do. 😀 From now on, I have to use two kinds of eyeliners (gel/pencil and liquid) to get the look I have always wanted. 😀 For those days I’d rather have a simple fine thin eyeliner though, I’d still go for the Wateproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen.
