Since I’ve been MIA last week, I’m trying to make it up to all of you, my dear readers. I’m slowly adjusting my schedule this time. The entire week last week was fun and packed of birthday celebrations, events and shoots. I’m seriously enjoying my new found profession. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve never been this happy with what I do. Having a huge train case filled with makeup and enhancing other people’s looks were just once a dream. This is probably the artist side of me talking. Not all of you know (not even my friends) that I used to love drawing. When I was a kid, I always have a sketch pad where I draw portraits and landscapes during my free time. I had to stop due to my hectic schedule back in college. Then, I suddenly became a makeup enthusiast. The artist in me was once again awakened. Probably, I was so drawn into the colors, the mixing, the palettes, etc. Being a make up artist brings out the creative side in me. ๐Ÿ™‚ I can’t believe it myself that I don’t mind having sleepless nights as long as I’ll be doing make up for other people. I used to rant when I can’t even complete my 8 hours of sleep. Now, it’s all different. Things definitely change when you love what you do. ๐Ÿ™‚ I just wanna share this thought to everyone. Anyway, I’m hoping to create another site soon for my portfolio. I will, of course, share it here as soon as it’s up. ๐Ÿ™‚ Anyway, enough about me being so ecstatic. I have to share another outfit post to make up for my absences. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is what I decided to wear during the 10th year anniversary of Topshop, which I’ll be sharing in my next post.

flared-pants

The wide-legged pants was one of my great finds during my last trip to Hong Kong. I was excited to wear it, so I basically built my outfit around my trousers.

Since the pants is already voluminous, I prefer to wear a waist-hugging top. I’ve actually shared some tips on how to wear wide-legged pants in this post. I wanted something sophisticated and elegant so I thought of a lace top. I always wear lace tops or anything sheer with a tank top underneath. But since it’s an after dinner event, why not try to be a bit daring? ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not wearing a mini skirt, anyway, so I personally think it’s not vulgar. Watcha think? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I wasn’t really supposed to wear a belt. An all black outfit would make me look taller and I’d love that! The thing is, the pants’ waistband is made of garter- something I’m very keen of. I usually cover gartered bottoms with my top. Or I would normally use a belt if I want to tuck it in my blouse. This explains why I decided to use a belt. Since I’m wearing a belt anyway, I chose something with blings- something that would pop in an all black ensemble. ๐Ÿ™‚
