Perfect setup, great DJs, lively crowd, fun companions, and overflowing drinks made the Masskara Invasion an epic night. Although we slept almost sunrise, we were alive and kickin’ for the next day’s activities.
Day 3: Bacolod Masskara Festival #SmartMasskara
Our day 3 was the Masskara parade, which Smart was part of.

It was drizzling that afternoon but it didn’t stop us from having fun!
Happy faces on a colorful afternoon… And yes, we were part of it! 😉
Bloggers love to multi-task, you know. So while on our trucks trying to balance so we won’t fall, we were dancing, chit-chatting, and taking photos around.
We also decided to join the performers who gamely posed with us! 😀
Thanks again to Smart for letting us experience the street parade- definitely one for the books! 😀
After having our super late lunch, we dropped by Felicia’s for their good ensaymada. Ahhh… another sweet haven! 😀
Because we made sure to pack so much energy for this trip, some of us were still game to tour around the city. Haha! Unfortunately, a lot of the places we wanted to visit were already closed at that time so we decided to go back to The Ruins. I must say, it’s also a must-see at night. There’s really something magical here at The Ruins – a historical place in the morning with a romantic ambiance at night. Ahhh… such a beauty! 😀

One last yummy dinner for this trip!
Right after, we went to Art District, a nightlife strip in Bacolod. Food, drinks, music, and art – all in one place! The walls are covered with art works by different local artists.
Sorry, I only have photos of the wall arts that night. It was our last night so we danced the night away! 😉
Day 4: Bacolod Masskara Festival #SmartMasskara
And on to our last day in Bacolod…
I told you in my Bacolod Masskara Festival (Part 1) post, forget the word “diet” when you’re in Bacolod. Up until our last meal in this city, the food didn’t disappoint!

Before heading back to the airport, we explored Silay City, which is identified to be part of the top tourist destinations in the country by the Department of Tourism.

And a perfect way to end the trip is by visiting the church of San Diego de Alcala.
For me, the hardest part in every trip is leaving the place and of course, knowing that you’ll not be with the gang anymore from day to night – in short #sepanx! Haha!
When Smart says that they give nothing but the BEST FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE to their subscribers, I’d have to agree! #SmartMasskara is indeed one for the books! BIG BIG THANK YOU to Smart Prepaid for letting me experience such awesome trip! 😀
Missing these guys so much- Camille, Kryz, and Patricia singing and dancing at the back of our van, Miko showing his dance moves, Paul drinking all the shots given to him, David for being the “winner” for all nights, Alyssa for being the best roomie with our late night (until early morning) talks, and of course the Smart angels, Yeg, Kimmy, and Chrissy for taking good care of us and making sure we’re having a blast! 😀 Bacolod crew, you’re the best! 😀
