If you’re following me on Instagram (@lush_angel), Twitter (@lush_angel), or Facebook page (facebook.com/lushangelblog), you’ve probably seen this photo below. I’ve been waiting for this for months now. I couldn’t wait for this issue to hit the shelves! 😀

Well, just a little background story. Early this year, I was contacted by Cosmopolitan Philippines because they wanted to feature my new place. The shoot almost didn’t happen because of so much delays. Haha! At first, my unit was not ultimately ready yet. Then, I flew in and out of the country. In the following months, I got so busy. It was only two months ago when the shoot finally happened! Haha! 😀 Well, it was a very quick shoot. If not for my hair and makeup, the team could probably do it in less than an hour. 😉

If you’ve read the article, I didn’t do the designing myself. I asked the helped of morfosis.ph owned by interior designers Misty Floro and Pai Edles. My sister and I already had something in mind, but Misty and Pai helped us in carrying out our idea and made it even better. I know a lot of people out there prefer to design their homes on their own. Well, as much as we want to, we really do not have the time. And I honestly do not have the patience to check on the construction, like the paint and the furnitures (since most of our furnitures and fixtures were customized). Misty and Pai made it very easy for us! What I love about them is that they really take the time to know their clients. They do not design for the sake of designing. They do not simply go for what’s trendy or what’s the norm. They make sure the client can relate to their design. It’s your space anyway, so a personal touch is always a good idea in your own home. They design based on the personality of the client and budget, of course.

The 2-page article will give you a sneak peek of my place. Of course, some parts were not covered here like the kitchen, another bedroom, my cabinets (specifically my custom-made bag cabinet), etc. I also have a shelf of shot glasses and Starbucks mugs, which I’ve collected from my travels- a part of which can be seen on the left side of the first page. 😉 Oh, and you can also get the look of my place as seen on the second page. 😀

Looking at the photos made me realize that this place is definitely ME! Those who know me well will surely agree. 😀 Special thanks again to morfosis team, Misty Floro and Pai Edles, for doing such an awesome job! 😀 You can check out their website morfosis.ph for their works.

Also, thank you so much to the Cosmopolitan Philippines team for the wonderful feature! Thank you Camyl! 😀 And thank you Pam Robes for doing my makeup for this shoot! 😀

I believe you can still grab a copy of Cosmopolitan Philippines November issue with Maja Salvador on the cover. Hurry hurry! 😀
