Who loves accessories? (I’m raising my hand!) It’s an easy way to give life to a plain ensemble. But are there rules when it comes to accessorizing? Recently, Morellato, Italy’s largest watch and jewelry brand, started a Style Series.
As for their first speaker, they invited lifestyle blogger and stylist, Jenni Epperson.
Jenni gave tips on how to use Morellato accessories on different outfits.
You can add statement necklace and earrings to a little black dress.
When you’re wearing a detailed or layered outfit, go for simple accessories. Always go for the “trio”, like watch-bracelet-earrings, watch-necklace-bracelet, or watch-ring-necklace, etc.
A laid-back look shouldn’t be boring. Why not excessorize?! You can pile bracelets and layer necklaces.
Jenni also answered the forever confusing styling question, is it okay to mix silver, gold, and rose gold accessories? Her answer? YES, but try to mix only two – silver and gold, gold and rose gold, or silver and rose gold. Forget about being matchy-matchy and it’s time to experiment. You can also mix different materials, like pearls, diamonds, steel, etc.
Part of the styling workshop is a styling challenge. We were grouped into two. We just have to pick a model from our group and use Morellato jewelries for styling. Our model (Team A) was Mica, while Team B’s model was Wilma.

At the end of the challenge, guess who won?! Team A!!! Yay! Here are the results of the styling session.
