When it comes to clothes, these are the colors you’ll never go wrong- black, white and gray. That’s why we call them the basics, right?
I wore this outfit when I attended a children’s birthday party. Well, being raised in a somewhat Chinese culture, wearing these basic colors in a birthday party is a NO-NO! My mom would give us a long sermon about it. This time though, I decided to wear this since the family of the celebrant isn’t really supersticious. Hehehe!
I really love clothes in basic colors. It’s like an effortless way to look elegant. I don’t stick to the basics all the time though. I love experimenting and it really depends on my mood.
On this day, I just thought of going for the basics. Anyway, enough of my blabber. Here it is…

Again, as promised, here’s the second part of my rugged look. Sorry, I just have too many photos. Please bear with me. LOL!
For the pictures below, I have exactly the same outfit as Part I, except for my top. I used a studded cropped shirt, which I got from Topshop about two months ago. Yes, it’s only now that I’m wearing it! Why?! When I went to Bangkok, I freaked out when I saw this exact top in one of the stalls! Argh! I swear, it is my cropped shirt- the studs, the cloth, the color, the print, everything! When I asked how much they were selling it, I wanted to faint! I got mine at Topshop for more than PHP 1,000 bucks. The imitation was priced at about PHP 300! Great!
Actually, when I saw it in the mannequin, it was the only time I remembered I have that exact top that’s why I had to stop and ask for the price. How I wish I just didn’t ask! LOL!
Anyway, I just wanna forget that! When I saw my pictures wearing my cropped shirt, my PHP 1,000 bucks is worth it. Hahaha! Trying to console myself, eh?! Well, I’d say this outfit looks more rugged than my previous post. Obviously, it is because of the cropped shirt. Check out more pictures below.

As promised in my previous post, I’m breaking-in my new Ed Hardy Sneakers. Hehehe!
My style? Getting rugged!
So not me? Well, I’m actually adventurous when it comes to what I wear. I really don’t have one signature style. I love experimenting, as long as it fits me well and I can carry myself. I can probably consider myself unpredictable. Well I guess that best describes me not only with the clothes I wear, but with anything else. LOL!
Anyway, I need to give you guys a warning. This post contains a lot of pictures!!! I can’t decide what to post so I uploaded most of it. LOL! In fact, because I have too much pictures of my rugged look, I will have to cut this post into two parts. I decided to change my top after a number of camera clicks- that I’ll be sharing in Part II. LOL! Oh and guess what?! Not all pictures have the “happy face”! Hahaha!!!
So, here you go… You can click on the photos to enlarge.

Although I am part of the corporate world, I seldom wear corporate clothes to the office. I am one of those who hates wearing slacks, long sleeves and a blazer to the office. I feel it is so so BORING and there is really nothing else to do with it. Hehehe!
This is why I love dress down Fridays, which I believe I have previously mentioned here. It lets me express my true personality. I have always believed that ”You are what you wear.” Hehehe! So I always want to make it a point that what I am wearing is reflective of me. Well, my usual office attire for some people (actually a majority of people) consider what I wear as “Dress Down Friday” already. Hehehe! In fact, I was reprimanded not once but twice for the clothes I was wearing to the office. If you are wondering what my usual office attire is, what else could it be but a DRESS! Cmon’, it’s the easiest outfit ever! I won’t have to think anymore! LOL!
After taking a shower, I just have to slip it on, pair it with the right shoes, bag and accessories. Less worries from thinking the top-bottom pairing.
I don’t wear a dress everyday though. Sometimes I also wear stylish skirts (again, not the usual office skirt… hehehe) partnered with various tops. Well, it really depends on my mood when I wake up. One morning though, I decided to go corporate! This seldom happens, I swear! LOL!
You might ask what made me decide to go so corporate this time? Well, well, well… I thought it’s time to wear all my office outfits since a week from now, I’ll be an official bum! LOL! Believe it or not- I CAN’T WAIT!
Yes, after almost 4 years of working, I finally had the courage to resign! I can rest at last! I have sooo many plans on top of my head right now and of course one of them is this, my blog. Weeee! Now, I can’t wait!
Okay, sorry I’m digressing! I just got so excited! Hehehe! Anyway, here is one of those days that I decided to go corpo. I might miss going to work so I’m making the most out of my last few days in the office. LOL!

Now that I have finally revealed my newest baby, as seen in this link, let me give you more details of the new 2010 Chanel Grand Shopping Tote. I know, my previous post has gone too long because of my story. LOL! Apologies as I’m just too excited to share my love story with her. Hehehe! You just don’t know how long I’ve been wanting to get hold of this bag. If I remember it correctly, two years ago I already had my eye on the GST. I just have too many must-have bags on my list that it had to wait. Plus, if you read my short story, it was like serendipity for us. LOL!

Last Monday, I got a biggie biggie surprise in the office! Weeee!
I didn’t really expected this. I thought I’m bound to wait until 2011 since I’m not going to Europe this year. Booo!! I was so caught off guard that I was rendered speechless when I saw it. I ended up jumping for joy when this was given to me…

Lace tops, lace skirts, lace leggings… We’ve been seeing a lot of these in runways. Celebs dig this trend as well. And I can’t get enough of it too! LOL!
I’ve been buying lacy tops this past few weekends. Now, I’m featuring here one of my lush-cious finds in a Rockwell bazaar last December. I know, this is such a late post. I bought a number of skirts in that bazaar, but this one is my fave.
I got a draped lace skirt with chain and gem detail from Glitterati for Php 950. So how did I wear this lace skirt in one of my Saturday nightouts without looking so vintage? Hehehe!
Check out the pics below… You can click the photos to enlarge.

In the corporate environment, which I am part of, most companies usually allow dress-down Fridays. This means, we can do away with our corporate clothes. It’s actually one of my fave days of the week (aside from weekends… Bwahahaha). Since I can wear anything casual, I feel more relaxed at work. No matter how my Fridays can be so busy, it still feels lighter than any other work days. Wearing corporate outfits, on the other hand, seem to be more uptight, which forces me to be more focused on work. This perfectly shows that the clothes you wear can definitely affect your mood.
