With my title, obviously, I hauled another bag. This has to be my last for the year! I know, 2012 has just started, but sad to say I have to control. I ended 2011 and started 2012 with a bang that even I, myself, is surprised! LOL! Wait a minute!!! In the Chinese calendar though, 2012 hasn’t even started! So, is it safe to say I have no bag hauls yet for the year two-zero-one-two?! Okay, I have to stop my illusions RIGHT NOW! LOL!

It wasn’t really in my plan to buy this. I was just strolling along Greenbelt when I saw the SALE sign (again) posted on the windows of Tory Burch. The next thing I know, I was going out of the store with this paper bag. I think SALE signs must be banned, don’t you think?! I always get victimized by those! Same thing happened to me in Malaysia, which is why I ended up with this. Darn! Maybe I should just be avoiding going inside boutiques when I see the letters S-A-L-E. Haha! Oh well, the difference with this purchase is that I bought something that was really on sale! Woohoo! Success! Or maybe not?! Because its sale price here in the Philippines is actually the regular price when you buy it in the U.S. I don’t want to think about that anymore. Technically, it’s still on sale here. I got it at 20% off. Okay, I’m sounding bitter already! LOL!

Anyway, enough of my blabbing! Here’s the McLane Chain Handle Satchel…

It has chain-link handles, something I’m really into as seen here, here and here. It makes the bag stand out, in my opinion. If I imagine it with a simple leather handle, I wouldn’t probably notice it.

The logo is not screaming “TORY BURCH”, which is also nice. Having a huge logo in brass could also be a problem if you’re O.C. (obsessive compulsive), like me. It can easily get scratched if you’re not careful.

The size is just perfect for my everyday bag. It’s big enough to fit my iPad, wallet, and all of my “trash”. LOL! It’s not as heavy as it looks too. I can carry it around the entire day!

The zip around closure makes me feel that my stuff inside is well-secured.

It has interior zip and cellphone pockets, which I really like. I appreciate bags with cellphone pockets. I put a lot of things inside my bag. It’s such a hassle to dig in to my stuff when I need to reach for my phone urgently. It happens to me ALL the time when I use bags without such pockets.

It has textured leather, making scratches more unnoticeable compared to the really smooth ones.

If there’s something I don’t like about it, it’s the top portion which tends to fold. Take note, I don’t have so much things inside my bag at the time I took these photos. Other than that, everything else is perfect!

Oh, as a tip, stuff your leather bags with paper or cloth when you store them to keep them in shape. As I said, I’m very O.C. and I try to avoid lines or folds on my bags. LOL!

Some find the 7″ strap drop too short as one of the handles keep on falling off the shoulder. The same can be said with Chanel GST, but I’m not annoyed with it. It seldom happens to me. Besides, I can easily carry it on my arms or hands so it’s not really a problem with me.

HERMES, of course!

And from my title itself, yes, it has arrived in my closet! Having this orange box has always been a dream. Who wouldn’t love that BIG, luxe, orange box?! But of course, it’s not all about the box. It’s what’s in it.

To set your expectations straight, it ain’t Queen B (as in the queen of all bags, Birkin). Can’t afford! LOL! In fact, I can’t even see myself buying one ever. I’d rather get something else. I won’t deny. It’s a dream. BUT I’d probably have one if I have overflowing moolah. Haha!

Anyway, I’ve been searching for this Hermes bag for sooo long. When I went to Europe, God knows how much sacrifice I did just to look for this bag. I visited all the Hermes stores in every city I went to- from Rome, to Florence, to Nice, to Madrid, to Barcelona, etc., etc. My mom kept on complaining non-stop. She thought we were wasting our time looking for something that wasn’t available everywhere! Well, true enough, it was no where to be found. I was so desperate, which is why I ended up with this bag.

About two weeks after I arrived, my friend told me that her aunt who just came back from Europe as well is selling this Hermes bag. And to my surprise, it was the bag that I was looking for! OMG! When I saw the color, oh gawd, I die!!! I was so afraid to lose it that it was considered sold after a few days of pondering! Haha! I just felt a little bad since I could have gotten it at a cheaper price. I was already there! Ugh! Well, as I look at my new baby, every bit of that mark up I paid was all worth it! Anyway, enough of my story. Meet my new baby…

Hermes Herbag in Red Orange

Everything could have been perfect about this bag except for the leather. It can easily get scratched that extra care is a must! Oh, and like the Hermes Kelly or Birkin bags, getting stuff inside the bag can take some effort. Well, the new Herbag may not come with an extra canvas anymore, but what I love about this new one is the little zip pocket at the back. It comes in handy especially for the things (like my phone) that I need every now and then. I don’t have to open the bag that often anymore. But all these cons can easily be forgotten as I look at the bag… The combination of the dark brown leather and red orange canvas makes my heart melt. More photos in my next outfit posts to come!

It’s a blue long sleeve dress, which I got in one of the shops in Sitges. That area is probably one of my top shopping havens in Barcelona. The clothes are so gorgeous and the prices are surprisingly not that high.

It’s a 2-piece dress, as seen below. The one underneath is just a plain strappy dress with ruffled hem. Then, a sheer long sleeve is worn on top.

I love how comfortable this dress is. The fabric is just perfect for the weird weather nowadays.

Thank you to Accessorize for the sunnies! I’m in love with its frame and size! I find oversized glasses really edgy.

It looks a bit similar to my other Prada Ruched Tote, but this one is bigger. They have different handles too. The other one has chain, while this one has leather handle and detachable shoulder strap- something I really like! I can hang the strap on my shoulder, wear it like a body bag, or simply put it on my arms!

As for the price, it’s 890 Euros. I tried asking a few Prada boutiques and they said that this price is the same all over Europe. Oh, and the price is inclusive of tax so you can get a tax refund. The percentage varies per country though.

Yeah, it’s the Cambridge Satchels!

Haaay! I’ve been wanting the 11″ yellow satchel! Ummm… I accept sponsorships. LOL! Just sharing what I’ve been dreaming about lately. Hehehe!

If I’m not mistaken, it’s available at Chocolate Schu Bar (Rockwell, Glorietta and Trinoma) and Madison (Rockwell). Sorry, I’ve never checked since I’m avoiding temptation. Haha! I hope they still have them in the following prices:

For the first time, I find a bag quite bulky. I was a bit disappointed when I carried it on my shoulder. This is weird because the size is quite similar to my Balenciaga Giant City. Well, probably that’s the reason why I’m now leaning towards the smaller Alexa. For me, having one of the same size is enough. Of course, if moolah is overflowing, why not?! LOL!

Oh, and if you read my Bag Reveal post, I was already tempted to get the Alexa BUT I was able to control and refuse. How and why? Well, as I’ve mentioned, I already fell in love with the Alexa more than the Oversized one. Yes, I love it, but it’s something to think it over. The Alexa would definitely be perfect for me FOR NOW. Take note, an emphasis on the “FOR NOW”. Why? It really does suits me well right now. I can just imagine tossing it around for my everyday errands and even pairing it with my most casual clothes. The problem is, will it still fit me when I grow old? When it comes to designer bags, I think of them as investments. Something I can use until I grow old. Something I can pass on to my children or even to my grandchildren. I just feel the size and the style of Alexa won’t fit me anymore when I’m in my 50′s. In fact, I even asked my mom to carry it. It looked awkward! But the Oversized Alexa, just like the Balenciaga, looks perfect on her. Since I’m not into the Oversized right now, maybe the Mulberry purchase should be on hold as of the moment. Take note of my words, “as of the moment”. I don’t wanna eat my words, you know! I don’t wanna say, I won’t be buying the Oversized Alexa ever! Better be safe! LOL!

Weee! Prada it is! I’ve been longing to have a Prada tote and finally, she’s here! And for how many years now, I’ve been wanting to have this Ruched Lambskin Leather Prada Bag. It has been part of my must-have bag list- reason why I’m feeling so ecstatic to finally get hold of her for keeps.

To be honest, it was a last minute decision. Even before I left, I didn’t had any plans of bringing home a new baby. Getting a new bag has been least of my priorities since I studied make-up. It never entered my mind, obviously, because I was too busy searching and buying make-ups. In fact, the sole purpose of my Hong Kong trip was to buy make-ups. I spent my entire first day there shopping for everything on my make-up list. But on my last day, literally before I went to the airport for my flight back home, I just thought of window shopping for bags. I tried on my dream Mulberry Alexa bag, where I realized that the oversized Alexa is not for me. I now prefer the regular size Mulberry Alexa. Okay, I was tempted to get it since they have it in Oak!!! Ugh! But, I controlled and refused. Then, I saw this Prada bag and tried it on too. It was the end. I didn’t know it won’t get off my hands! Haha!

I’ve been longing to have a Prada tote in Ruched Lambskin Leather. What I love about this particular tote is its chain handle, which is my weakness, and the mix of fabric, making the bag definitely lighter- something I really need nowadays! The size is just right for me- not too small nor too big. So in less than hour, it was sold! Then, off I went to the mall for my last minute make-up shopping before heading to the airport. While walking, I was thinking- “Ummm… What did I just do???” But hey, no regrets! I wanted this for so long and I finally found the one. Haha! I love everything in it. It was the perfect Prada bag for me. It was definitely love at first sight. So now, I’m back to my bag ban! Tihihi!

Moving on to my bag reveal, meet my Japanese baby…

Finally, a Chanel Medallion in Beige! Yay! It was actually an impulsive decision. I haven’t really been “craving” for this bag for quite some time now. Two years ago, I was salivating over it. I would even dream about it. But for months now, I somehow forgot about it. Probably because I promised myself to stop my bag addiction with my Goyard St. Louis. Yes, I’m serious with that. I barely use all my bags. But when I saw this baby on the window display, I couldn’t stop myself from going inside the store. I never thought that I’ll leave carrying her already. Hehe! We were sort of on a shopping spree during our trip because of our experience. We just couldn’t believe we’re alive! We were just so happy that we’re safe and sound! And so, that explains my impulsive buy… Hehe!
