Francesca Versace in the Philippines for Bric’s

Bric’s, an italian brand known for its quality luggages and accessories, opened its flagship store here in the Philippines at the new wing of Shangri-la Mall. The grand launch started with a fashion show, showcasing Bric’s travelling accessories. Being a travel junkie, I won’t deny, I drooled over the bags used on that runway. Those leather suitcases are to die for. This is how to travel with class. Agree??? 😀 😀 😀 The motto “MADE IN BRIC’S” mirrors the cultural identity of an Italian company. A product MADE IN BRIC’S, comes from a tradition unique in the world that guarantees the elevated quality’s standard of a Bric’s product. When one speaks of MADE IN BRIC’S, one refers not to the geographical provenance of the Comapny but rather to the genius of Italian know how, from which an idea is born, and to an all too unmistakable style. Bric’s and its organization guarantees since 1952 the preservation of its traditions either when it manufactures in Italy or in other countries. I guess everyone wants to travel in style and Bric’s definitely knows that. Bric’s teamed up with Francesca Versace, born in a family of fashion designers and a designer herself, for the FV_Bags collection. The bags feature colorful frames with baroque swirls. The frame is a symbol to hold on to the dreams, wishes, emotions, and moments. Francesca Versace was actually present during...

I honestly didn’t plan to dress up in theme last Thursday, July 4. I just realized I had the colors blue, red and white when I was on my way to PAC’s makeup workshop (I will be sharing more about it in a different post). Anyway, belated happy 4th of July! 😀 Blue top and shorts, Red watch and White bag Stripes top and printed shorts that look like stars from a far, I was indeed ready for 4th of July! LOL! BCBG Max Azria opens at Resorts World Manila, their third store here in the Philippines! I was able to drop by at the launch and exclusive preview of BCBG Max Azria’s latest summer line, California Dreamin. The line carries a definitive West Coast vibe of ethereal bohemia as accentuated by ethnic textiles, digital prints, and touches of delicate embroidery. With six key collections encapsulating the cool west coast theme, each offers sophisticated, confident designs that takes women from work to the weekend—a quality ideal for the modern Filipina. The line’s key silhouettes include shirts, tunics, shorts and night out tops whilst accessories are punchy and bold with clutches in bright colors and statement necklaces with a bohemian touch for a more relaxed summer attitude. Here are my top picks! Chic Boheme brings together California cool with ethnic prints and embroidery for a rooftop party style with global allure. World Beat consists of pieces with ethnic inspired scarf prints in vibrant hues lending a global sophistication to vacation style. Summer Nights Outfit Ideas

Summer is always associated with fun and bright colors. No doubt, when we’re at the beach or when we’re out for some casual event, it’s almost automatic that we choose to wear our bright and printed summer pieces. But how about on those occasions when we need to be a bit prim and proper, for example attending a cocktail party, going on a date in a fancy restaurant, or lounging with your girl friends? When it comes to less casual dressing, I’m pretty sure the most common choice would be the basic colors. But why limit yourself to such? Why not bring out the summer fun from day to night? Let’s chase summer with these outfit ideas for different occasions. We usually see dark colors during cocktail parties. Be the light in the dark with something bright and loud. Haha! I actually mentioned in my Mango Magnified Spring Summer 2013 post how much I love yellow dresses. It’s a head turner color for me. The cut of the dress is also perfect for such occasions as there’s no need to be bothered with bulging tummy. Hehe! Now, who says comfortable dressing can never be achieved in formal gatherings, huh? Since my dress is bright enough to scream summer, I went for the basic black for my shoes, bag and accessories. Going out on a date with a guy for...
