Day To Night Makeup Look Tutorial

When I watched Wicked, as I previously shared HERE, I was thinking of what makeup look should I go for. I had to go to MAC’s Greening event early in the afternoon, then go straight to an early dinner before watching Wicked. It was a whole day affair. Should I go for a light makeup first then retouch before the show? Or just go all out? I’m quite sure a lot of ladies out there have encountered the same dilemma at one point. For those who go to the office, what’s a safe makeup look that can go for day to night? Since I knew I didn’t have the time to retouch, I just went for a day to night makeup. Here’s the look: For my eyes, I went for semi-smoky eyes. I used darker shades of red and brown, which I also used in my lower lash line for my eyes to pop. I concentrated the deep black brown shadow on the lower half of my lids and blended it upwards. I made it very subtle to avoid looking so made up during the day. This eye shadow trick can be worn in the office too. I made everything else simpler. I skipped the contour and went for highlighter instead. I used brown lipstick, which can be used for day and night. If you wish to glam up...

Pink Makeup Look Tutorial

Don’t be afraid to wear pink makeup – I remember posting about this a couple of months ago. So after trying out pink blushes, are you ready to take a step further? Let’s go all out! I created a makeup look using pink eye shadows and pink lipstick. Wait, before you react, let me show you how it looks… What do you think? The problem with pink eye shadow is that it has the tendency to make your eyes look tired. To avoid this, the shades of pink I used on my eyes are not so light and bright (Barbie pink). It’s a bit on the darker side with a mix of rose and brown shades. I also tapped a small amount of pink shimmer eye shadow at the center of my lids. And for the look to stand out, I went for a matte bright pink lippie! If you’re not yet ready to go all out, you can try a subtle version of pink lipstick or go for nude. Of course, when I say “all out pink”, it still has to be a wearable makeup look. I went for subtle shades of pink for my blush and highlighter. Here are all the products I used: Foundation: MAKE UP FOR EVER HD foundation Concealer: Guerlain concealer Loose Powder: Etude House Zero Sebum Powder Blush and Highlighter: Bobbi Brown Cheek...

MAKE UP FOR EVER has been known for their HD line ever since they launched it. And to stay in line with the latest 4K-technology, in which the smallest details are magnified, MAKE UP FOR EVER’s innovations in HD product development have now taken the ULTRA HD franchise one step further, to address very specific and essential cinema needs: skin perfection and finishing. There are 3 steps in the ULTRA HD routine to create a look of perfection. Together with the new MAKE UP FOR EVER ULTRA HD products, I was introduced to these 3 steps. Step 1: PREP MAKE UP FOR EVER ULTRA HD Skin Booster (PHP 2,250) “Even with the best foundation products, the results are never as optimal if you fail to prep your skin. The healthier the skin looks, the better it looks on screen” – Dany Sanz, Founder and Artistic Director of MAKE UP FOR EVER MAKE UP FOR EVER completes the ULTRA HD routine with another pro secret that boosts and revives tired skin on sets. The MAKE UP FOR EVER ULTRA HD Skin Booster is a hydra-plumping serum that works to boost skin radiance and luminosity. It moisturizes, plumps, and smoothes skin. The makeup artist tried it on my clean, bare face and it’s actually very light! The serum was easily absorbed by my skin since it’s water-based. She also explained to me that when...

Complete Your Look With One Makeup Product #IbaTalagaPagKumpleto

If there’s one makeup product to make a look “complete”, what could it be? Well, this is definitely debatable and very subjective. To be honest, choosing just one product can be very difficult. If you ask me, I’d go for at least 3 makeup products: powder foundation, lip and cheek tint, and brow product. I can even attend an event with just these on my face. But of course, there are days (especially on weekends) when I try to avoid makeup – except one. What could be this one makeup product that I can’t live without? Some would say lipstick. Others would go for a lip and cheek tint since it’s already a dual purpose product. If you asked me a few years ago, I probably answered concealer. I learned to love my skin and all its flaws now, so I can actually go out of the house with just sunblock and… a brow product! Why? Here’s K-Palette’s newest Lasting 3Way Eyebrow Pencil in 4 different shades. It’s a product with pencil, powder and a spoolie! Well, I can moisturize my lips using a moisturizer. Yup, you can do that! Although a lipstick or a lip and cheek tint can add “flush” to your face, I just feel it’s not enough if you don’t have well-groomed brows. Of course, if you’re not so comfortable with your skin, foundation or concealer...
