Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder Makeup Collection + Swatches

Ahhh… so this is a dream come true! This is the closest I can get to Posh Spice a.k.a. THE Victoria Beckham – that is owning her makeup collection! Yup, you read that right! Victoria Beckham and Estee Lauder collaborated to create a limited edition makeup collection. I want to make women feel empowered, to feel sexy and confident. This makeup collection does that. I love to make women feel like the best version of themselves.” – Victoria Beckham Can I just say, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous!!! Very posh indeed! I FEEL like I’m Victoria every time I hold any of the products! LOL! Seriously, you would want to do your retouch in front of everyone with this kind of casing! The Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder Makeup Collection debuted at Beckham’s SS17 runway. “I am so excited to be using my Estée Lauder makeup in my show this season. The starting point for my new makeup collection was beautiful skin—and I’ve stayed true to that with the beauty look for the SS17 show. The makeup really reflects the assured free spirit of the Ready to Wear this season, so the use of color is quite carefree and applied in bold strokes across the eyes. Overall, the look doesn’t feel too perfect or considered.” – Victoria Beckham And what inspired Victoria to create this makeup collection? It’s the cities that are close to her...

MAC Huggable Lipcolour Makeover + Swatches and Price

Recently, I was invited by MAC Philippines to visit their branch in Rustan’s Makati for a makeover. They launched the new MAC Huggable Lipcolour, which boasts on its pigment and shine. I’ll share more about it and some swatches later on. 😀 Here I am taking a selfie with my bare face… Yes, I look pale! Hehe! Oh wait, can you spot the new MAC Masterclass brush??? It’s finally here in the Philippines!!! Dear, it feels sooo soft!!! I’m in love! Noel Nocillado did my make up for this makeover. Look, he even prepared a face chart which has the look designed specifically for me! Thank you so much!!! 😀 Here are some of the products he used on my face. He started out by applying MAC Strobe Cream. I’ve never tried using one before because I thought my skin is already too oily. I’m afraid to look like a frying pan! Noel explained that Strobe Cream is actually good for all skin types. It makes the skin look healthy and glowing, which he really achieved as you’ll see later on. He used MAC Studio Sculpt in NC25 on areas I need coverage, such as cheeks, nose and chin. For my under eye circles, MAC concealer in NW25 was used. He then set the foundation with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. This powder has very light coverage so it’s perfect...

How To Apply Makeup The Clinique Way

I, together with beauty blogger friends Shen and Phoebe, spent our Saturday afternoon at Clinique SM Aura. It was a special event showcasing their new products and makeup looks of 2014. Chris Isaac, Clinique Philippines’ Sales and Training Executive, conducted a makeup workshop. Yes, we, beauty bloggers, love makeup workshops! Although we know how to apply makeup, there’s always something new to learn. 😀 Let me share some of Chris’ makeup tips. You can also try this out for your Valentine’s look! 😀 He started by applying eye primer. It’s one thing I can’t live without when I apply eye shadow. I have very oily lids. You can see my shadow creasing in a matter of minutes if I don’t use a primer. If you have an eye shadow trio, choose the second lightest or the medium color and apply all over the lid. Chris’ tip when applying eye shadow all over the lid is to pat the eye shadow brush for more intense pigment. The darkest color should be applied on the outer-v and blended in until the middle part of the crease. He used the tip of the same eye shadow brush to grab and apply the product. Now, this could be your day or office makeup. Easy right? 😉 For night makeup, simply add black eye shadow on the outer-v. This could be your eye makeup...
