A Cooling Moisturizer To Beat The Summer Heat
It’s getting hotter and hotter here in Manila and it’s so perfect to get away and hit the beach. Oh dear, I miss the sun, the sand and the waves! And since there’s so much to celebrate and it’s been a while since I was allowed to get some tan, I’ve started planning for a couple of beach trips! Wee, and the excitement begins…! This is why a love package from our friends from Jergens came just in time.

Bed Head TIGI After Party Review
I rarely use after-shower or leave-on hair products. With my extremely chemically treated hair though, I think I now should. When I say “extremely”, it’s not an exaggeration. Just two weeks ago, my hair was dyed again. I was sitting inside the salon from 10am to 9pm. I didn’t had my hair rebonded or permed. As to why it took that long, my hair was semi-bleached and dyed seven times (permanent hair color, then semi-permanent for the last two tries). Hair stylists were all amazed how strong my hair is that it could take all the chemical treatments they’ve done. Of course, with all that my hair have been through since last month, having frizzy hair is unavoidable. I’m back in the process of conditioning my hair, which could take me months once again. This is why Bed Head TIGI After Party is too perfect to try out in my current hair condition. How did it perform? Read on.

MAKE UP FOR EVER White Definition Powder Foundation Review
Looking at the products I used in my makeup tutorials HERE and HERE, you’ll notice a lot of them are from MAKE UP FOR EVER. My love for the brand started when I took up a makeup course in their school. I had the chance to use most of their products during classes. At the end of my module, I started hoarding for my personal and client use. Now, you’ll probably understand why I get so excited when there’s something new from MAKE UP FOR EVER, like the new Rouge Artist Natural I posted. In fact, if you’re following me in Facebook or Twitter, you probably know that I attended its launch yesterday. The colors are sooo lovely! I’ve been contemplating if I should get that gorgeous plum lipstick I tried on. Gaaah, please don’t haunt me now! You’ll know more about it when I post about the event. Anyway, going back… here’s a review of MAKE UP FOR EVER White Definition Instant Brightening Powder Foundation.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter Review
Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter has been in the market for quite some time already. I’ve read and heard so much raves about this product, making me really curious. Finally, I had a chance to try it out when Eman sent these lippies, together with the new nail polishes of Revlon, as shared HERE. I was given the colors Sugar Frosting (005) and Red Velvet (040) . I tried them for more than a week and here’s what I have to say.

Travelogue: Taipei, Taiwan
Almost the same time three years ago, I was wandering in the streets of Taipei, Taiwan. My family didn’t really want to go to Taiwan at that time. We just thought of stopping over for 5 days before we headed back to Manila from Eastern Europe. Walking almost everyday (for more than two weeks) for hours can be draining. You can see from my travel posts HERE. My mom thought it would be nice to take a bit of rest in Taipei before facing reality. Haha! Little did we know that we were off for another adventure. Our plan to hibernate the moment we were dropped off at our hotel was completely forgotten.
We stayed at Howard Plaza Hotel, located at Da-an District. It’s a huge 5-star hotel, with Asian-inspired rooms. Cleanliness is definitely a 5 out of 5.

Pond’s Age Miracle Day Cream for Oily Skin Review
A lot of oily-skinned individuals skip putting on moisturizer either because it can feel sticky or it can make them look shiny. It can be a pain looking for the right moisturizer. I know that for a fact since I used to be one of them. Well, I still try out different kinds of moisturizers.
