When it comes to clothes, I have always been partial to black and white, especially when I do not have the time to think of top and bottom pairings. And of course, they are classics, which are easy to dress up and down. Even a simple white round neck tee can be worn for a night out, right? So just imagine my joy when I chanced upon this sleeveless high-low top…

What I love about dressy or stylish tops is that you can go casual or simple with everything else. In this look, I opted to wear a high rise form-fitting jeans. It is a pair from Freego’s new line BlueShell Skin Care jeans. Yup, I just typed “skin care” right there. These are denims that promise to moisturize skin all day. Honestly, I’m not sure how but I noticed that the denim’s fabric is super soft and comfortable.

Although I can just go for flats and still look presentable (because of my dressy top), why not make it a little more “extra” by putting those gold shoes on? Gone are the days when metallic high heels used to be reserved for formal occasions only. You can pair your gold, silver or rose gold high heels with jeans, skirt or shorts if you want to dress up your look instantly.

I did not accessorize anymore since it was a casual day for me. I just used my trusty classic watch and a black structured bag. I love bags that come with long strap as I can carry it in a variety of ways. I can hang it on my shoulders, use it as a crossbody bag, or just hold it on the short handles. Such bags are nice for casual or office use. Please do not use huge bags like this when attending cocktails or formal occasions.
