Recently, I was invited by MAC Philippines to visit their branch in Rustan’s Makati for a makeover. They launched the new MAC Huggable Lipcolour, which boasts on its pigment and shine. I’ll share more about it and some swatches later on. 😀

Here I am taking a selfie with my bare face… Yes, I look pale! Hehe! Oh wait, can you spot the new MAC Masterclass brush??? It’s finally here in the Philippines!!! Dear, it feels sooo soft!!! I’m in love!

Noel Nocillado did my make up for this makeover. Look, he even prepared a face chart which has the look designed specifically for me! Thank you so much!!! 😀

Here are some of the products he used on my face.

He started out by applying MAC Strobe Cream. I’ve never tried using one before because I thought my skin is already too oily. I’m afraid to look like a frying pan! Noel explained that Strobe Cream is actually good for all skin types. It makes the skin look healthy and glowing, which he really achieved as you’ll see later on.

He used MAC Studio Sculpt in NC25 on areas I need coverage, such as cheeks, nose and chin. For my under eye circles, MAC concealer in NW25 was used.

He then set the foundation with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. This powder has very light coverage so it’s perfect for setting foundation or touch-ups throughout the day.

Noel wanted to give me a soft natural look. He used MAC eye shadows in Ricepaper on my lids and Wedge to contour my eyes. To define my eyes, he used Smolder Eye Pencil to tightline and on my waterline too. To add more drama, Noel used MAC Fluidline in BlackTrack on my upper lash line and applied mascara on my upper and lower lashes.

For my brows, Noel used MAC eye shadow in Espresso and brow pencil to fill in the gaps. He then colored the hair strands with my favorite MAC Brow Set in Girl Boy.

MAC Powder Blush in Dame was used on my cheeks. It’s a sophisticated blue-pink shade in satin finish.

Now for the most awaited part- the MAC Huggable lipcolour, a limited edition lip color that doesn’t compromise shine for color. It comes in 12 shades that can stay bright and luminous for hours. It’s very creamy, leaving lips smooth. It doesn’t dry out my lips too even when it starts to fade! 😀

Here are few shades that caught my attention right away:

From left to right- Feeling Amorous, Commotion, What A Feeling

Noel used MAC Huggable Lipcolour in Fresh and Frisky on my lips. A coral shade is definitely a must-have for that fresh look! 😀

I love the fresh and glowing face he did. And of course, I love how my eyes are well-defined in this look, yet still very subtle and natural.
