For those who are celebrating Chinese New Year, Kung Hei Fat Choi! 😀 I hope the Year of the Rabbit will bring good luck to all of us! And since it’s a brand new year, let’s start the year right! Let’s welcome the Year of the Rabbit with a bag reveal! LOL! 😀

My first bag for 2011 came a bit early. I usually buy when I travel with my family around March or April. And since it’s pretty expensive to buy designer bags in our planned trips this year, I thought of asking a friend from London to get me this bag I’ve been meaning to buy for the longest time. 🙂 I already thought of getting this when I was there last 2009. My real targets at that time were Balenciaga Giant City and Chanel Grand Shopping Tote. Since Chanel GST was out of stock everywhere in London while I was there, I thought of bringing home this bag, which is in my must-have list too. But for some reason, I wasn’t bound to bring home 2 bags that time as the color I wanted wasn’t available. 🙁 I think it was in my horoscope that I can only buy a Balenciaga. LOL! Well, looks like the year of the rabbit is starting good for me. Horoscope says, I can now own one again! Haha! 😀

Goyard increased their prices early this year. 🙁 Last quarter of 2010, I thought of getting this bag already and it was still priced at GBP 480! And because I had second thoughts again, I now had to pay GBP 580! Ugh! 🙁 Well, I don’t want to dwell on my GBP 60 loss anymore. It’s done and what’s more important is she’s finally mine! LOL! 😀

Finally, a bright colored bag for me! 😀 Enough of the classic colors this time. Though the black and the navy blue are nice colors, I had to control myself from buying them. I’ve always wanted something new in my small collection. I have too many black and brown bags already since I really prefer to go for the classic colors when it comes to designer bags. Since Goyard’s St. Louis is more for casual get-ups, why not try something fun and colorful this time?! And my first choice? YELLOW! Goyard’s shade of yellow is just impossible to resist. It can definitely be a pop of color in any plain outfit. I love it!!! 😀 A new bag for the new year can hopefully bring me loads of luck for the entire year! Hehe! 😀
