When you open the television, you see a lot of talented people- actors and actresses in movies or series, singers and dancers in variety shows, hosts in talk shows, and the list just goes on. But hey, who said these are the only people who have talents?! You don’t need to be Charice Pempengco to be considered talented. All of us have talents in our own little way.
Okay, to be honest, I grew up believing I don’t really have any talent. When somebody asks me, “What’s your talent?”, my answer would always be, “None”. I know I’m not alone with my thinking that talent should be grand. It should be something that everybody would say “wow”. It should be worth announcing to the whole world. It’s usually related to singing, dancing, or those that we see on television. If that’s the case, I really don’t have one. Let me sing and the rain would start falling! LOL! π
That’s how I used to understand the word “talent”. But now, I’m proud to say, I have a talent! All of us definitely star at doing something, no matter how irrelevant you think it is. There’s no talent too small. So now you’re probably wondering what kind of talent I have… Hmmm… Now, I’ve decided to reveal my little secret. What is it?
Well, I’m sure I’m not alone with this kind of talent, but I’m still proud of it. But hey, it’s actually dangerous so I really don’t suggest doing it. I just developed this skill (if you can call it a “skill”) overtime. Okay, now you’re intrigued! LOL! π Here it is… I star at doing my make-up while driving. You see, I’m always late- something bad and something I should definitely change! And because I’m always in a hurry, I do my make-up inside the car 98% of the time. The thing is, I’m not the passenger all the time, especially when I used to go to the office. Since I’m always running late, I pump my liquid foundation at the back of my left hand and hold a brush on my right hand. I spread the foundation all over my face, while I drive. And yes, even when it’s not traffic, I can do it. Now you know how much I love make-up. I even do it while I drive! Haha! Bad I know, so please please don’t try it. That’s just probably how passionate I am when it comes to make-up. Haha! π
Oh by the way, I think this talent of mine runs in the blood. My sister can actually apply on lipstick without a mirror in front of her. Haha!
Now that I’ve shared mine, what’s yours? Share to the whole world where you star at by posting it on Shine On, Sister facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ShineOnSister). π
Well, that’s an interesting talent you’ve got. Quite dangerous too. But hey, you’re good at it. And I applaud to that!!! Well, my talent is maybe singing and playing the guitar. Quite boring though compared to yours. But that’s the best I can do. π
Yeah, dangerous indeed! LOL! π Hey, that’s not boring! How I wish I knew how to sing and play the guitar too! I have quite small hands that I have a hard time reaching for all the strings. LOL! π
Bongga ka sa talent mo mare! Ako I’m good at getting mad at the people who crosses at dangerous areas! kainis! biglang sumisipot! So yung patience ko nauubos sa driving ..so di pwedeng mag mookap! Baka witch look! π
i think you should also count as a talent your ability to haggle in china! you always get insanely low prices so far from the original price!
Haha! I was thinking of that too actually while writing about this… LOL! π
Haha! Naku, true yan! Kainis yung biglang sumisipot! Samahan mo pa ng mga motorcycles! Kainis talaga!!! Kaya I make sure to do my skill pag medyo big ang street naman. Pag maliit, no-no! π
Haha I do the same thing! I used to do my make up while driving when I was still working. And even now I still do most of my makeup in the car although Andrew is there to drive na. Hehe π
