Lace used to be reserved for special occasions due to its delicate fabric. But in the modern days, we see it almost everywhere, even as a detail of a casual ensemble. But how about an all-white lace dress? Sounds like a wedding gown, right? Haha! Wearing one on your first date might freak out the guy, thinking you’re looking forward to settle down soon. Kidding! Haha! 😀 Well, there are exceptions. I guess this little dress just spells E-L-E-G-A-N-C-E.
Honestly, I got this dress for an event that requires an all-white attire. It didn’t push through so I just thought of bringing it during my trip to Baguio. Well, obviously, this is not a usual get-up in Baguio if you’re there for a vacation. I attended a special lunch event in a hotel, which explains my outfit. Hehe! 🙂
For those who are not so comfortable wearing sleeveless, here’s a style that can make the arms look slim. Arms not too covered with peek-a-boo shoulders can do the trick.
As for my accessories, I used classic and delicate pieces to go with the dress.
Since it was just a luncheon, I thought of wearing flats. Of course, for more formal events, it’s easy to dress up the look by wearing heels.
Oh, and have you noticed anything? It was so windy that time so I thought of doing a side fishtail braid to keep my hair in place. And take note, a dainty outfit won’t be complete without a girly hairstyle. Why not try something new instead of the usual ponytail and bun? 😉
Just like my Rope Braid Tutorial, doing the side fishtail braid is very easy. “Fishtail braid” sounds complicated and it looks very intricate. But when I learned how, I can do it even with my eyes closed. Haha! In fact, I did this while walking, so I didn’t even have a mirror to see how it looked! I’ll share my Side Fishtail Braid Tutorial in my next post. 😀
How about you? Are you comfortable wearing an all-white lace dress? 😉
