Sorry for being MIA for a couple of days. It was really a busy week for me. If you’re following me on Instagram (@lush_angel) though, I’m sure I kept you guys updated on what’s going on. 😉 But despite my crazy schedule, I was able to drop by the first ever digital pop-up store in the country. I just couldn’t miss it! What’s a “digital pop-up store”? Read on.

Here I am checking out the clothes at the Zalora Digital Pop-Up Store… and I wanted to bring home almost everything!!! (P.S. The separates I’m wearing is also from Zalora)

Zalora Philippines opened the very first digital pop-up store in the Philippines at EDSA Shangri-La Mall. The 235 square meters store is like your typical outlet with clothing racks, mannequins and changing rooms. What’s the difference? There’s no cashier or cash register! All transactions must be done online using tablets, phones and laptops that are displayed throughout the space. And once you have chosen and paid for an item, it will be delivered right to your doorstep. Yes, I’m sorry but you CANNOT bring home the item. It’s really like online shopping, but with the added benefit of being able to actually see and touch the products before you make any purchase!

Aside from eliminating the hassle from having to carry loads of shopping bags, the real goal of Zalora Pop-Up Store is to continue building the E-Commerce in the country using this unique approach. Through this one-of-a-kind shopping experience, customers can hopefully ease their doubts on online shopping.

I used to avoid online shopping because I’m one of those who wants to get a feel of the product before buying. I’m always worried about the fabric and fit when it comes to clothes. I prefer seeing the item in person before making a purchase. Eventually, I discovered the convenience of online shopping. I don’t have to drive, park, and walk to the mall searching for what I need. Also, I realized I waste so much time getting from one place to another considering the crazy traffic here in the metro. I now enjoy the convenience of online shopping since my items are delivered right to my doorstep. If by chance I don’t like any of them, Zalora offers 30 days free return. They can even pick it up at my house! This kind of online shopping experience is what Zalora wants everyone to discover. Through the Zalora Pop-Up Store, they aim to reach new customers by bringing their products closer to their customers while keeping the convenience of online shopping.

Now, what’s in the Zalora Pop-Up Store? The space is filled with well curated fashion clothing and accessories from Zalora’s extensive collection of top international and local brands and home-grown fashion boutiques. Customers will be given access to their extensive catalogue, similar to what they find online.
