The first time I saw the packaging, I already imagined how refreshing the scent is. The gradient bottle from clear to white already exudes that vibe. It also has white floral petals at the base of the diffuser, which is quite different from Jo Malone’s usual simple and classic black and white. But of course, this lady won’t complain. They are really pretty. And if you are a Jo Malone collector, this limited edition bottle is a must-have.

Thinking about it, I do not own a fragrance that has Magnolia scent. It is not as common as other floral scents, like rose, jasmine, etc. Thankfully, Jo Malone released Star Magnolia!
When first sprayed on skin, the zesty lemon stands out. Then, the magnolia flower slowly unfolds. It dries down to a soft powdery finish.
It was love at first spray for me! It is my kind of fragrance — light, soft, ethereal and refreshing! It is sweet, which is distinctly floral. It is the kind of scent that is perfect for summer, which is all year round here in the Philippines, or for first dates. For a soft creamy scent, it is impressive that it can last throughout the day.
