We have been seeing a lot of ruffles lately – from tops to skirts. I used to avoid them simply because I’m staying away from trendy pieces. Well, I have been trying to revamp my closet and make it minimalist. I like to invest more on basics. But then, I gave in…
Who would not love ruffles? Some may find them over the top, but I like how ruffled pieces can instantly make one look dressy.
In this look, I paired my ruffled skirt with a black round neck shirt — a basic piece that I think every girl should invest on.
And to make the look even more dressier, I used a pair of earrings from Rory and Sloan. It has been a while since I wore statement accessories. Again, I have decided to go for classic pieces. But I’m glad I was able to get this pair of earrings recently. I like wearing it whenever I feel underdressed.
