After my 8-hour flight, I finally arrived in Abu Dhabi! I’m currently waiting for my connecting flight to Heathrow so I’ve got little time to blog. Hehehe! I just wanna share a little story. I’m feeling so energized right now. You’ll know why later on… 🙂

This is my first time to fly all by myself! ZOMG! I’m seriously feeling so independent since last week. I’m so not used to this! LOL! I have to drive on my own (Thank God my friends have been picking me up in the office whenever we have nightouts on a weekday!). I have to run errands on my own. I even had to go to a tire shop to have my tires changed! Plus, I had to go to a car wash on my own! ZOMG!!! And now, I’m flying alone. Waaaah! I think I’m gonna get insane! Just give me a few more months and I seriously think I’m going to breakdown! LOL! My parents were supposed to fly with me today. They booked the same flight as mine, but at the very last minute, my company had to reschedule my flight. Oh dear! You should see how worried my parents were! On the way to the airport last night, they kept on reminding me what to do and what I should not do. LOL! They even planned on where I should be seated, as in like a family thing that my mom had to talk to my sister. Wahahaha! Laughtrip! 🙂 The moment we arrived at the airport, my parents really thought that I wouldn’t be able to carry all my stuff. They even carried my stuff all the way to the entrance. Hahaha! Well, true enough, I have a terrible backache right now! And my baggages are overweight! Argh! 🙁

Well, I wouldn’t have to worry too much about being too independent since my parents are flying today. Oh, I think they actually left Manila by this time. Yah, they just can’t accept that I’ll be gone for more than a month. Hehehe! That’s why I love them! 🙂

Anyway, how was my flight from Manila to Abu Dhabi? Ummmm… I wouldn’t know actually. Hehehe! I’m feeling so energized because I slept the whole 8-hour flight! I was snoozing even before we took off! I wasn’t even able to eat, which is why I’m feeling so hungry now. Hahaha! The funny part is- I woke up very nervous because I thought our plane crashed!!! Then, I heard a girl said, “Welcome  to Abu Dhabi!”. ZOMG! What a relief! The landing wasn’t that smooth that’s why I thought the plane crashed! Hahaha! Maybe it was the pilot’s way to wake me up, huh?! I can just imagine if that was a smooth landing, I’m probably being nudged by the flight attendant to let me know that it’s time to get off the plane. LOL! 🙂

Well, I need to cut this short now. We’re boarding already! London here I come! Hahaha! 🙂

P.S. I never thought Abu Dhabi airport is this big, nice and classy!!! It’s not my first time here though. I remember I was just here last summer when we had our stop over going to Vienna, Austria. We didn’t had the time to look around. But now, since I have to wait for about 3 hours here at the airport, I took time to go around. I love the Hermes shop! I finally saw what I’ve been looking for there! 🙂 Okay, guilty of going inside the shops already… LOL! 🙂
