It was one of those lazy late afternoons when I decided to jump out of my bed and leave the house. I thought of wearing this very simple sleeveless jersey dress in grayish-purple, which I haven’t worn in ages! It’s from the very first collection of K.A.T. and I suddenly saw it peeping out of my closet. Haha! 😀 It’s a plain short dress that others might not even pay attention to when hanged in a rack with other chic dresses. But hey, plain and simple pieces can also be chic when styled. 😉 Check it out below. 🙂

When I slipped on the dress, I suddenly realized how much I missed wearing it. I’d say, it can be a grecian-inspired dress because of the folds created when clinched with a belt. The soft fabric allows the dress to look flowy. Jersey is very light and comfortable to wear. It’s as if I’m not wearing anything at all- definitely perfect for a lazy sunny afternoon! 😀

Wearing the dress as is would definitely look sloppy. It actually comes with a belt, same fabric and color of the dress, but I thought of using a thin braided belt to add some color to the outfit. And since I liked the grayish-purple and brown combo, I thought of being matchy-matchy. 🙂 I went for my H&M brown lace up booties and shoulder bag, brown leather studded bracelet and brown earrings. A touch of gold always looks nice with browns as well, so I wore a gold cuff and necklace. 🙂

I also revived my brown blazer, which I bought in Seoul, Korea back in November 2006. I felt ecstatic to see this blazer once again inside my closet. I thought I’ve lost it! I felt so bad since I haven’t seen anything like it here in Manila. It’s made of some unique fabric- leathery and velvety. Sorry, I couldn’t quite describe it because of its uniqueness. LOL! 😀 Apparently, it was just hidden in the depths of my closet. LOL! 😀 I really should clean up all my cabinets one of these days. They’re all chaos! “Chaos” might even be an understatement! Ugh!
