We’re already feeling the sizzling summer heat here in Manila. As much as we want to wear shorts, sleeveless, tank top and flipflops all the time, some situations just won’t allow us. We don’t want to be too casual for meetings, events and in the office, of course, but that doesn’t mean we have to be too uptight and simply go for neutral colors during these times. It’s summer ladies! Bring fun to what you wear. Wear something colorful… Wear something printed… Wear something floral… Wear something sweet… Wear something chic… Despite the summer heat! 😀
I thought of bringing back to life my floral skirt from almost 2 years ago. I paired it with an almost-sheer top in blush. If you can’t wear your comfy tank tops in the office, go for light or bright colored blouses for that summer feel. 😀
I didn’t go for too much accessories this time. Just a belt to define my waist, layered necklace and cuff and I’m ready to go! 🙂 And if you noticed, I chose to keep my accessories, shoes and bag in neutral tones- brown, beige and bronze. For me, neutral colors bring formality to an outfit, which was just perfect for the event I was going to attend that night. 😀 A mix of colors and a touch of neutrals is always a nice combination. 😉
