It has been a while since I last babbled here in my blog. Please allow me to have this small space for myself. This blog serves as my journal too, anyway. I love going back and reading my past entries to reminisce from time to time. 🙂 I just want to share how amazed and grateful I am with my “Third Week of September”.

Third week of September has just passed… And the magic happened once again. It started back in 2009. It may have been happening even before but I just didn’t notice it. It’s when I started blogging in October 2008 I realized that there’s something with me and the third week of September.

September 17, 2009, I flew to London and stayed there for about two months for work. It was indeed one of my happiest days of my life. I just had a vacation with my family in Europe summer of the same year and I never thought I’ll be back so soon. It was pure bliss when I heard my boss say, I was chosen to do some work there. My 2 months stay in London taught me a lot of things. It was my experience there that made me really independent. I then realized how much I wanted to work and live there while I’m still young.

September 17, 2010, I flew to Shanghai. I never thought I’ll get into modeling. I never tried because I personally didn’t like it. It wasn’t even part of my dreams. I was too shy then. One day, I was pushed by a friend to try it out and the next thing I knew I was on the plane. It was entirely a different experience from the corporate world, but I enjoyed every bit of it. I never thought that this opportunity would open more doors for me.

September 22, 2011, I was in Singapore to watch Formula 1. My vacation became sudden work, which led me to 2 new projects. I had to fly back to Singapore the week after and to Thailand two weeks later.

September 20, 2012, I went to Shiseido’s event. We were told that the Regional Chief Makeup Artist of Shiseido, Angela Boh, is in the country and that she would hold a makeup certification workshop during the event. Almost every brand has its own technique in applying makeup. I may have the know-how, but this never stopped me to learn something new. In anything, learning is a never ending process. To spice up the event, we were also told that the best 2 candidates would win a Shiseido shopping spree. To cut the long story short, it was the Third Week of September. 🙂 Yes, I won!!! 😀 I couldn’t believe it myself! I’ll tell you more about the event in another post. Surely, it deserves a separate entry! Another blissful day for me! 😀

Third Week of September. It may be a coincidence. It may be not. I still believe though that it’s not sheer luck. Relying on luck alone won’t bring us anywhere. I work hard to gain achievements and to follow my dreams. And above all, I lift everything to God. With Him by my side, everyday is like my Third Week of September. Thank you, Lord. 😀
