I wrote a gist on what All Things Hair, a.k.a. ATH, is all about in my OOTD post. And as I’ve said, it deserves a separate post. I’m extremely excited to share more about ATH. It’s what we’ve all been waiting for! Why and what am I talking about? Read on.
Aside from skin, I’m pretty much obsess with my hair. If you’re following me on Instagram (@lush_angel), Twitter (@lush_angel), or Facebook page (lushangelblog), you’ve probably noticed how often I change my hair color. I’ve also shared here in my blog the story of my hair countless times. I can clearly remember I started being so conscious with my hair when I was in sixth grade. I started visiting the salon regularly and trying out different hair products. My love for my hair never vanished. I consider it my first love, when it comes to personal care/ beauty. Taking care of my skin came a bit later. And you know what they say, first love never dies! Up to this day, I never stopped loving my hair.
But why is hair that important to me? My answer is simple. Aside from the fact that it’s one of the first things people notice, having beautiful hair just makes my day! For some, this may sound weird, but it really is like my energy booster. Whenever I have great hair, I feel I can be on top of things. I gain confidence and I just feel good all through out the day. For me, having bad hair day is like waking up on the wrong side of the bed. It irritates me the whole day! In the same way, if I’m stressed out, I make my hair pretty by straightening, curling, or styling it and my supposedly bad day magically transforms to a happy day. Now you know why it’s important for me to have perfect hair everyday. And I’m sure, I’m not the only one who feels the same way. 😉
This is why when I was invited to be part of ATH, I had to say YES immediately! I get tons of questions about my hair. Even when I’m traveling, random girls would approach me asking about my hair. FINALLY, here’s a one stop spot that can answer all our hair concerns and I’ll be one of the gurus to share more about my hair tales and hair care tips. 😀

After UK and Canada, All Things Hair YouTube channel officially launched in the Philippines- the first in Asia. ATH is a collaboration between Google, global hair brands – Dove, TRESemme, Toni & Guy, Cream Silk, Sunsilk and Clear, and Philippines vloggers: Angela Nepomuceno (me), Kelly Misa, Laureen Uy, Nicole Andersson, and James and Phil Younghusband.
“As much as we Filipinos turn to international video bloggers for advice, with our weather, our products, our hair type and other factors affecting our hair, solutions from other countries aren’t as tailor fit for us. Hair requires a lot of personal care,” said ATH contributing editor and beauty expert, Agoo Bengzon.
Apples Aberin, PR Head for Unilever brands said, “At Unilever we are always looking for ways to reach out to our consumers and come up with solutions for their every problem. We feel that this new video platform is a really great way to do it.”
Gone are the days when we get frustrated after watching a hair tutorial just because the hair products used are not available here in the Philippines. Most of us ladies have probably experienced that. Also, our hair have different needs, considering our erratic and humid weather in our country. Here at ATH, we’ll be giving hair care tips and hair tutorials that are especially catered to Filipinos.
Now, did I get you excited??? I have tutorials on how to do Rope Braid, Fish Tail Braid, Soft Waves, Side-swept Ponytail, and Braided Headband. They’re all so easy that most of them you can actually do in less than a minute. I promise! 😉 Subscribe to www.AllThingsHair.com and start watching our videos! 😀
Of course, I’d like to thank All Things Hair Philippines for trusting me and for allowing me to share my love for hair! 😀 Until next time! 😀

Please advise what products to use for breakage of hair.
Hi Anita, I use Dove Intense Repair Treatment Mask and Dove Intense Repair Daily Treatment Conditioner alternately. And for everyday cleansing, I use Dove Intense Repair Shampoo.
I appreciate your quick response and assistance regarding products for hair breakage. Have a bless weekend!
Hi, I recently had my hair permed (big waves and lower portion only). It was my first time. I used to have straight and quite thick hair. Now I am challenged how to maintain my hair with nice curls. Sometimes it gets dry and not organized. Can you advise how I could keep the curls and make it healthy and look good all day? Thanks!
