In 2002, Éclat d’Arpège was created. It is a fragrance inspired by the unconditional bond of love between Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter Marguerite. A lot of women fell in love with it. In fact, a number of my friends wear it as their signature scent. This 2015, Lanvin launches another new scent Éclat de Fleurs. It is the subtle expression of a new facet of femininity that is full of freshness and spontaneity – a luminous creation that exudes lightness, joy and an ephemeral euphoria.

Éclat de Fleurs Lanvin: The Design

The iconic form of a flower is carved into the round bottle. The marguerite (the name of Jeanne Lanvin’s beloved daughter) engraved in the glass bottle with the gentle, curved petals, reminding affiliations Éclat de Fleurs to this family which already unites Arpège and Éclat dArpège.

Showing the same cap as Éclat dArpège, the bottle is topped with a rose diamond under which two white gold rings intertwine, representing the love that exists between two beings. The crystalline rose colour can be glimpsed through the transparent bottle while the name of the fragrance is transcribed in silver letters: Éclat de Fleurs.

Éclat de Fleurs Lanvin: The Fragrance

Éclat de Fleurs Lanvin is a fruity, floral scent, similar to that of a spring afternoon.

“Sometimes, an image can struck you and stick in your mind. At the origin of this creation is one of them: a wild field of flowers that immersed us in an “Impressionist” painting. The green herbs were sprinkled with colorful flowers scintillating in the sun, thus creating a picture symbolizing a burst of flowers. For this fragrance, we have translated this image into scent. The rich and facetted ingredients of the fragrance gave us all the colors to create the DNA of the fragrance.” explain perfumers Anne Flipo and Nicolas Beaulieu (IFF), the designers of this creation.

Multichromatic overflow was the signature theme of this composition. The top note is Pear, giving a sensation of freshness that expresses the delectable happiness of a spring fugue. The middle notes are Freesia, Rose, and Jasmine. It dries down to sweet white Musk and creamy Sandalwood, bringing seductiveness to the scent.

Éclat de Fleurs Lanvin is now available in the Philippines at leading department stores nationwide. Prices are as follows: 100ml – PHP 5,298; 50ml – PHP 3,898; 30ml – PHP 2,998.
