So okay, I’m not claiming to be an expert on hair but I just wanna share with you how I take care of my own. It may or may not work for you which is why it is always important to consult your stylist before doing anything to your locks. As for me, this is what my stylist suggested me to do. So what’s my secret? Read on…
A lot of people or even my stylists always tell me how unique my hair is. As I have shared with you in this post, I have been doing a lot with my hair. In fact, what I have said here about hair coloring is not the only thing I do with my lovely locks. I also have it rebonded every 6 months. I already attempted to have my ends curled also- see how crazy I am! Yah, I really change my mind quickly and I get bored with it easily. Crazy me! That’s why it is extremely important for me to take good care of my hair. Just imagine all the chemicals in my hair. It should be extremely damaged by now. But no! So how do I take care of my chemically treated hair? I have my treatment once a week, aside from conditioning my hair everyday. That’s my secret- treatment, treatment and loads of treatment! But of course, there are weeks when I am really, really busy. I don’t have the luxury of time to get a treatment and wait for minutes for it to sip through my hair. But a month never passes without me taking time to do this regime. It is a must for me!
So what brand of hair treatment do I use? I don’t go to the parlor once a week just to have my hair treated. My spending will go overboard if I do that! Hair treatment for the length of my hair costs about Php 1,800. Imagine, Php 1,800 a week for hair treatment! That’s like a top or a dress a week. Or like a Louis Vuitton bag in at least 20 weeks. Hahaha! So what do I do? I buy a jar of Loreal or Kerastase hair care treatment from the salon and save a couple of thousands! A jar costs around Php 1,000- 2,000 depending on the type of product and it’s good for several use!
Proper hair care may be different from each person. Shampoo and conditioner everyday, plus a weekly treatment make my locks healthy. Again, this may or may not work for you. Some experience hair loss because of using too much hair care products. Therefore, I highly advise that you consult your stylists first before doing or trying anything on to your hair. They know best on what to do.
Have a healthy hair day! 🙂
