So okay, I’m not claiming to be an expert on hair but I just wanna share with you how I take care of my own. It may or may not work for you which is why it is always important to consult your stylist before doing anything to your locks. As for me, this is what my stylist suggested me to do. So what’s my secret? Read on…
A lot of people or even my stylists always tell me how unique my hair is. As I have shared with you in this post, I have been doing a lot with my hair. In fact, what I have said here about hair coloring is not the only thing I do with my lovely locks. I also have it rebonded every 6 months. I already attempted to have my ends curled also- see how crazy I am! Yah, I really change my mind quickly and I get bored with it easily. Crazy me! That’s why it is extremely important for me to take good care of my hair. Just imagine all the chemicals in my hair. It should be extremely damaged by now. But no! So how do I take care of my chemically treated hair? I have my treatment once a week, aside from conditioning my hair everyday. That’s my secret- treatment, treatment and loads of treatment! But of course, there are weeks when I am really, really busy. I don’t have the luxury of time to get a treatment and wait for minutes for it to sip through my hair. But a month never passes without me taking time to do this regime. It is a must for me!
So what brand of hair treatment do I use? I don’t go to the parlor once a week just to have my hair treated. My spending will go overboard if I do that! Hair treatment for the length of my hair costs about Php 1,800. Imagine, Php 1,800 a week for hair treatment! That’s like a top or a dress a week. Or like a Louis Vuitton bag in at least 20 weeks. Hahaha! So what do I do? I buy a jar of Loreal or Kerastase hair care treatment from the salon and save a couple of thousands! A jar costs around Php 1,000- 2,000 depending on the type of product and it’s good for several use!
Proper hair care may be different from each person. Shampoo and conditioner everyday, plus a weekly treatment make my locks healthy. Again, this may or may not work for you. Some experience hair loss because of using too much hair care products. Therefore, I highly advise that you consult your stylists first before doing or trying anything on to your hair. They know best on what to do.
Have a healthy hair day! 🙂
I use that too… the orange one from Kerastase… although now napabayaan ko na hair ko :(. But I should start treating my hair to prep for spring/summer. But I also want to have a hair cut or perm pero soft curls/waves lang… Di rin ako mapakali sa hair ko. haha
Yah, that treatment really works for me. My hair used to be really dry and super tangles (especially when wet) but now super okay na. 🙂 OMG! Just last Wednesday Carla was convincing me to have a digital perm… perfect for summer! Waaaah! Still have to think, think, think since I don’t know what to do anymore with my hair. I want highlights. I want perm. I want rebond. Di rin ako mapakali! Hahaha!
Hay naku I really want to get a perm! Pero the last one I had, diba nga di mo man lang napansin? I had my last at Salon de Manila din pero I had to go back twice kasi masyado straight daw hair ko ayaw mag curl! hehe… parang waves lang sya – which is okay kasi i love din waves kaso yun nga, it didn’t last that long coz nag strai-straight na yung hair ko. So dapat you ask din kasi I think parang mas mahirap kumapit pag Digital perm eh. pero depends din siguro. Maybe they will just add more time sayo – lalo ka na lagi nagpapa-rebond. 🙂
Ah really?! I’ll have to check again. Carla and I saw that digital perm at basement salon last week kasi. And mukhang okay sya. The stylist said na okay lang sa hair ko since digi perm daw is really for rebonded hair. But I still have to think about it. I’m also scared! I don’t want my hair to be too curly. I just want my ends to be wavy or pwede rin big curls lang. 🙂 I’ll check this weekend. Hehehe! 🙂
