Since my mom is Chinese, I actually grew up in a Chinese culture. We never fail to celebrate Chinese New Year. It is in fact one of the most important celebrations in our family. Well, it’s one of my most awaited events of the year also since it is another gift giving event for us. Bwahahaha! 🙂 But really, I have to say, my family considers this the start of a brand new year for us. Something that we felt we needed since the year of the rat was not so good. My grandmothers passed away. Actually, there were just too many deaths, members of the family or relatives of friends, so we all wanted the year to end. At last, a brand new year is about to come so we definitely need to celebrate tonight! We all hope that the year of the Ox will be a happy and prosperous year for all of us! Below is something to add to our luck. LOL! Actually, this was just sent to me. I don’t know if it’s true, but my family follows such Chinese traditions. Hahaha! It won’t hurt to wear your lucky colors, right? Who knows it might be true. Well, you have to believe it’s true! So check your animal year below and the lucky colors to wear on New Year’s Eve.
