Remember my previous post on Unisex Shoes? Funny because I think when I made that post, I foreshadowed what would happen three days after. Guess what?! My mom apparently cleaned her shoe closet and she brought all her wearable shoes in our pad. She called me up and told me to choose those that I want so she could give away the rest. When I got inside our pad, geesh… shoe boxes were piled all over the place! I excitedly opened each box and took a picture of some.
These are some of her shoe collection way back. Oh, she just loves Ferragamo. She has a couple of Gucci’s too. Almost all are branded, which made me realize what a shoe addict she had become. Oh dear, she is both a bag hag and a shoe addict! Waaaah! Now, she really is my role model! Hahaha! 🙂 The problem is I don’t think I can wear most of her designer shoes as I find the style quite old. I know my mom specifically instructed to choose those that I would only wear so as not to dump all those shoes in our closet, but I just can’t afford to give them away!!! Oh no, now I feel so selfish, but isn’t it I have a point when I say that styles keep on coming back?! I think I’m better off keeping these old and not so old styled shoes. I’ll be waiting for their big come back. Hehehe! 🙂
Anyway, look at the set of shoes above… Now, aren’t they somehow similar to those unisex shoes? These have more feminine touch though, so I think I can use these. 🙂 Pardon the pictures as they just don’t do justice to their color because of the flash. The colors are actually nice in person. In fact, I’d say the colors are just so perfect for me, which makes me wanna try them. Hehehe! 🙂
Oh and before I forget! I just wanna share also this lovely pair. I fell in love with this the moment I saw it. 🙂 I was also very surprised that my mom actually wore such high heels!!! I think this is around 3 to 3.5 inches! Ummm… yah, of course she wore such high heeled shoes when she was about my age huh?! Hehehe! Oooh… I just love this pair and I’m so amazed that after such a long, long time, the shoes are still in excellent condition! 🙂 I asked my mom about this pair and she said it’s one of her gorgeous shoes she used to wear during her ramp modeling days. Uh-huh, she used to be a ramp model and I’m wondering why I didn’t get even a little bit of her height! Hahaha! Anyway, this sandal is not a designer brand, but she got it from one of her trips in Hong Kong. All I can say is- it’s one hell sturdy and gorgeous shoes. Hehehe! 🙂
Whew! It really pays to raid mom’s closet, huh?! Hahaha! So what are you waiting for? Raid your mom’s closet and I’m sure you’ll get great finds, minus the cash out. *wink*
