First of all, I need to apologize for not being able to post for the past two days as I had to attend some events (Thanks L’Oreal!). I’ll be sharing these to you guys in the posts to come. Β For the meantime, I’d like to share an outfit which I wore in one of the events I attended. π
I love dressing up. Isn’t it obvious? Hehe! π My once upon a time “lifestyle” blog is slowly becoming more of a fashion and beauty blog. I just can’t stop talking about my love for fashion and cosmetics. Well, girls will always be girls! π Anyway, yesterday I suddenly thought of wearing office clothes! I know, that’s new! I think I have mentioned several times here in my blog how much I hate office wear. Never have I imagined that I’m going to miss it someday! LOL! π Well, it’s not exactly a usual office outfit, but this is how I normally dress when I used to go to work. Check it out below… π
Wondering what’s with my title “Zipping in Style”? I’m breaking-in my new fashion find at R.A.F. Plains and Prints. I’m not sure though if it’s still in stock right now since I bought this several months back. I only got the chance to wear it yesterday in an event since I haven’t really been wearing such formal skirts for the past few months. I sooo love the zipper detail of the skirt. Its shiny texture makes it look like a leather skirt from a far too, which makes me love it more. π
To complete my office look, I partnered the skirt with a ruffled top from Tyler. For me, Tyler is one of the best stores where you can get classy and stylish office clothes. What’s even better is that you support a Filipino brand! π It may be a bit pricey, but when they go on sale, you can really find great bargains. Oh, and you better go on the first day of their sale events as their clothes really sell like pancakes, whether it’s for men or women! π Itβs also worth checking out Tylerβs new arrivals, even if they arenβt on sale. Some may argue that their clothes are too plain and simple. But looking at their styles, cuts and details, they really cater more on couture and high fashion, making their prices reasonable enough. Every penny is worth it. To be honest, wearing their pieces in the office somehow empowers me. Hey, clothes can boost confidence, donβt you think?! The clothes you wear can definitely affect your mood! π
If you have noticed, I kept my accessories to a minimum. I just wore a pair of dangling earrings and a Chanel purse. I just wanted to highlight my outfit and I thought there’s too much details in it already- ruffled top, zippy skirt and zippy booties. Too much of anything can transform you from being a fashionista to a fashion disaster. We don’t want that!!!
I just finished it off with a pair of black stockings to make my look more formal.Β TIP: If you wanna make your outfit look formal yet fashionable, try to wear black stockings. It really brings wonders to your entire look! π Be a fashionista and try lace or printed stockings too! π
On Lush Angel: Tyler ruffled sleeveless top; R.A.F. Plains and Prints skirt; H&M black stockings; New Look booties; Chanel 2.55 Medium Flap bag; Anne Klein two-tone earrings
I love how you coordinated your outfit. The lines and colors match so well! And you look absolutely charming on the last photo! <3
