Before I continue with my Japan travelogue (Travelogue: Kyoto Japan (Part 1) post HERE), let me share my outfit in my most recent visit at Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto, Japan. The month of June is quite hot already in Japan so I made sure to bring summer clothes. It was a good thing though that the heat was not the sweating kind. LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€ BUT unfortunately, it was the sunburn kind. ๐Ÿ™

If I should choose one favorite place in Kyoto, it would be Fushimi Inari Shrine. If you’ve seen the movie Memoirs of a Geisha, these orange pillars would probably be familiar. I just love walking with these lovely pillars around me. Not to mention, they’re really picture perfect!

Anyway, I’ll be posting more details about Fushimi Inari in a different post. I’ll have to talk more about the outfit this time! ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m wearing a scarf print hi-low top with a little sexy back.

The outfit is nothing really fancy. I just made sure to wear comfortable clothes for this trip.

And do you notice something? A pop of color is my only accessory. If you’ve seen my Instagram (@lush_angel), I posted a photo on how I packed for this trip. Well, I normally fix my outfit per day, which I think is the right way to avoid overpacking. I always pack light… so light that my friends whom I travelled with to Camboida and to Japan gave me a second look (on both instances) when they saw my bag. LOL! If I bring a huge luggage for a trip, it only means there’s nothing much inside it. In fact, I put a handcarry trolly inside my luggage where I put all my clothes. The entire luggage is more for my extra space for my shopping needs. Hehe! To help me pack lighter, and at the same time remain fashionable, I brought my Veloci watch with me. ๐Ÿ˜€ I used to travel with one classic watch to match all my outfits and I’m pretty sure most of you do the same as well. This is why the fashionista in me was so happy when I got this Veloci watch. I can now match my clothes with my watch through its interchangeable straps!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ I spent 8 days in Japan and I brought 2 Veloci watches and 6 straps with me. I looked like I had different watches everyday. LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

For this outfit, I used my pearl face Veloci watch with bold red strap.

With its color, it’s really noticeable even from a far, don’t you think? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Isn’t it obvious from my previous outfit posts, like my OOTD: Orange Pop, how much I love pop of colors? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sorry, the photo below is not in Kyoto anymore. We went straight to Osaka on our last day in Kyoto. Again, I’ll do a separate post on my travel and itinerary. ๐Ÿ˜€

And to prove how much I love Fushimi Inari, I was just there last March when spring was about to start. Just look at the difference of what I’m wearing- from cold to sizzling hot. Haha!
