It’s Shu Uemura’s Glow On Blush!

It’s my latest discovery as I was shopping for cosmetics at Duty Free Fiestamall’s Peso Power promo, as seen here.

I have always been a fan of cheek stains. I’ve tried the cheek stains of Body Shop, Smashbox and Tarte and I love how it gives me that natural flushed look. The problem with cheek stains? It works only for smooth skin and it’s quite hard to blend. When not blended properly, it can leave streaks or blotches, making you look like a clown. Yikes! We don’t want that! Hehe! 😀

I suddenly thought of going back to powder blush when I saw the wide variety of colors of Shu Uemura’s blush. Since my Asian skin loves Shu Uemura’s products, I ended up trying their Glow On Blush, priced at $25 or PHP 1000 (thanks to the Peso Power promo of Duty Free). 😀

I’ve been using this Glow On Blush of Shu Uemura everytime I go out and I can say, it’s really worth the price. 😀 For those who aren’t aware, blush in powder form is the easiest to use. It blends easily and works on all skin types. What’s even better with Shu Uemura’s powder blush is it’s really long lasting despite my oily skin. Plus, you don’t need much to achieve that flushed look. I just literally dap or swipe my brush once, tap the excess powder and brush on the apples of my cheeks! You can always add more, depending on how rosy you want your cheeks to be. 😀

As I mentioned earlier, Shu Uemura has a wide variety of blush colors that you can choose from. Aside from that, pearl and matte shades are also available! Since I’m a fan of the natural look, I opted to get the pink matte shade. If you have fair skin and you’re going for the natural flushed look, I suggest this M Pink 31 shade. It’s just as if you pinched your cheeks. 😀
