Yes, back to reality for me! I’m now home from Singapore. 🙂 That only means one thing- back to regular posting everyone! 🙂 First of all, apologies for not being able to post while I was there. I wasn’t able to prepare any scheduled posts before I left as I had to do a lot of errands. I also thought I would be able to blog every night while I was there since I really didn’t expect this trip to be super busy!!!
The day we arrived, we went straight to visit Sentosa Island. Gosh, so much have changed from the last time I went there! I initially thought it would be a waste of time to see Sentosa again, but no! It was worth it! 🙂
Our second day was dedicated for Universal Studios, of course! LOL! 😀 Oh, mom was so happy that she was able to ride the Jurassic Park River Adventure again (even if we were soaking wet)! LOL! 😀 I was impressed how Universal Studios was built in Singapore. It’s like the smaller version of Universal Studios in California and in Florida. I just wish they made it bigger and probably add newer attractions. The dinner on our second night was the best in my entire trip. We had dinner in one of the restaurants in Chijmes. It was just a bit too pricey. Well, it didn’t come as a surprise- aside from the great ambiance, the Wagyu steak that we ordered was superb!!! Now I’m craving for it again!!!
The third and fourth days were alloted for shopping. I never thought that two days ain’t enough for shopping in Singapore! The last time I went there, I barely bought anything. Now, the shops I love are all in Orchard Road! Well, except for H&M! But hey, have you heard the news?! H&M will be coming to Singapore on Autumn 2011!!! Weee! Now, Singapore is becoming a shopping haven for me! I love it!!! 😀 Imagine, we got home at around 2am on our third day! We ate our dinner at around 12mn because we were so busy shopping! Crazy indeed! Oh yah, our last day was the day I suddenly thought of getting another gadget. Eeeek! I promised myself not to get any techy stuff anytime soon. After getting a LX5, iPhone 4 and now an iPad, I’m now on a gadget ban! Ugh! Oh, of course we had to visit the famous Marina Bay Sands. Whew! Going up to their Sky Park was really worth it! 😀 I should have booked at least a night there. It was just too far from Orchard Road. 🙁 I promised myself though to stay there for at least a night when I go back. Hehe! 🙂
Anyway, that’s it for now. Enough of my trip. Hehe! Will share more of it (and of course, my great finds) in the next posts to come. Need to catch some sleep now. 🙂 Stay tuned for regular posting! 🙂
