I can still remember the day I started blogging. At first, I didn’t think much of it and it was too much idle time in the office that pushed me to create a blog. However, that all changed instantly after posting my first article. I got hooked.
Back then, blogging was not as popular as it is today. Blogs are now seen as a major avenue of media that represent and influence society. Even LushAngel was totally different compared to what it is now. What started as a personal journal has now evolved into a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog. Along the way, I have met several people and communities that helped me grow my site. One of them that have greatly helped me and thousands of other bloggers as well is Nuffnang. Through them, I met people and gained friends who share the same passion I have about blogging.

This year, I really hope to be invited and become part of the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2011. I am dying to attend the awards since it would be a lot of firsts for me. It is not every day that I get this opportunity to witness this one of a kind event that gathers bloggers from the region under one roof. I’m talking about bloggers from Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Australia!!! Whoa! 😀 It would be my first time to experience a blog event of this magnitude out of the country. But the reason why I really want to attend is the chance to meet and bond with my fellow bloggers in and out of the country. It is always interesting to meet new bloggers and make new friends. More than anything, gaining new friends who share the same interests as mine is priceless. Lastly, I would want to acknowledge and give support to my fellow bloggers who worked hard in making their blog stand out from the rest. Personally, I know how hard it is to maintain a blog. A lot of sacrifices have to be made. Maybe I can also learn from them and improve my own blog. Hopefully, I can make LushAngel an awardee too in the future. Watch out Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2012. LushAngel is knocking on your doorstep! LOL! 😀 Kidding aside, just thinking about all the people I will meet and the things I will do during the event is already giving me goose bumps. Oooh, I can’t wait to walk on that red carpet! Hehe! 😀
