Finally, G-Star RAW has landed in our shores! Thanks to the exclusive distributor of G-Star Raw in the Philippines, Primer Group of Companies, now known to be Asia’s next retail giant.
Last July 27, G-Star Raw in Fort Bonifacio High Street had their grand opening. I’ve actually posted a few photos in Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during the event. Those who have seen them probably got curious and excited!
Borgy Manotoc, who hosted the event, introduced us to the brand.
For those who aren’t familiar, G-Star is luxury street wear made by denim specialists. A preference for raw materials, deep passion for denim and architectural perspective on tailoring are one of the main characteristics of the brand. Looking around the store and their collection, they truly reflect these values: Raw, Pure and Functional.
From its conception in 1989, G-Star has been known for its innovative and cutting edge style in the world of denim. Pushing the boundaries of the denim material, continuous experimentation and product development have led to a strong following worldwide.

Aside from their jeans, I’m truly in love with their jackets! They’re really edgy! 😀

They also presented to us their five Filipino brand ambassadors who exemplify what the brand is all about. Made up of a crew of some of Manila’s most recognizable faces in the modeling, fashion, film, and music scene, G-Star Raw’s Philippine brand ambassadors include Sanya Smith, Pauline Prieto, Sid Maderazo, Mike Concepcion, and Gian Romano, who, with their unique sense of style, have captured the eye of G-Star Raw.
