Gone are the days when we only opt for black or white socks. Ladies, gents, and kids are now into colorful, funky, printed socks. This is why when Happy Socks was finally made available here in the Philippines, fashionistas rejoiced!

The brand was founded by Mikael Söderlindh and Viktor Tell. In just five years, Happy Socks is already present in more than 70 countries. Cool, huh?! This just shows how Happy Socks can really spread happiness around the globe.

Recently, Happy Socks Philippines held their media launch at Staple and Perk Bakery, entitled #100HappyActs. Judging from the entrance, we already knew we were bound to experience good vibes and happiness.

After registration, we were asked to choose a pair of Happy Socks each – because happiness is a choice (literally, in this case). Then, we were asked to leave our shoes outside the cafe and walk inside with our Happy Socks on. The afternoon was definitely filled with happiness – good food, great music, and catching-up with friends.

Here are some of the displays around the cafe. As you can see from the prints and colors of the socks, they are already screaming with happiness. I don’t know how to explain it, but just by looking at them makes me smile.

Happy Socks kids and adults are available in different sizes to make sure they fit perfectly. Happy Socks kids are at PHP 799 per set of two, while Happy Socks adults are at PHP 649 each.

And just before we headed home, we were all given a box with three Happy Socks items in it. Idea starters on how to spread happiness were written on the flaps of each box. I followed the instructions, which says give two items to loved ones. I gave one pair to my dear sister and the other pair to my ever patient boyfriend. Then, I was suggested to spend time with a friend in a coffee shop, so I had dinner with a friend.

Happy Socks gave 100 boxes during the event, which is why the event was called #100HappyActs. Kudos to Happy Socks PH Managing Partners Katherine Sy and Diana Ong! 😀 Congratulations!
