I’ve actually featured this outfit in one of my previous posts, as seen here – OOTN: Epic Night Out. I wasn’t able to show the details of the look though. Also, in this post, I’m going to show how I managed to use the same outfit during the day to run errands and to do a little shopping.
I used the same sleeveless top. This has been my favorite ever since I got it. I’ve been into halter neckline lately. Showing a bit of the collar bone can look slimming. Plus, obviously, having warm weather here in Manila means I need cool and thin fabric, making this top perfect!
When I decided on getting a midi-skirt, I thought of looking for something unique. I want to own a black midi skirt, but I’m not keen on getting a plain or printed one. When I saw this skirt online, I didn’t even bother searching for more. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. Aside from its uniqueness, the geometric cut-outs and mini skirt lining works for both day and night too.
Now, how to dress down a midi skirt? Simple. Use slip ons! Running errands and going around the mall need comfortable footwear. Comfy casual need not to be flip flops.
As the sun starts to set, it’s time to change to a pair of sexy heels.
Dressing up or down an outfit doesn’t just involve shoes. You can also use accessories to make your look perfect from day to night. If you want your clothes to standout, go for minimal accessories. You can go for a bangle, a small pair of earrings, and a classic watch. If you want to make a statement, go for bold necklaces or pile up your bracelets and bangles. Accessorizing can be a key to bring your day look to glam. If you don’t have much accessories, you can browse through ZALORA’s collection of jewelry. They’re all so gorgeous!
