Most of the time, women have to make a choice between form and function. Do we sacrifice comfort over fashion or style over comfort? What if you can have both, anyway? This is what Heatwave, a Singaporean footwear brand, wants the Filipinas to experience.
Just a little background on Heatwave. It’s a personal endeavor by its owners, who made it a point to craft each collection based on trends, practicality and comfort, and translate these design room ideas to form by hand-crafted manufacturing – eight people work together to produce a single Heatwave pair.
A few weeks ago, I was able to get a sneek peak of what Heatwave has to offer. They have classic styles and colors, wearable for any occasion, anytime of the day.
They also made sure to have classics that have trendy touch- without sacrificing elegance.
I noticed their shoes have manageable heel lengths, which I really prefer. Gone are the days when I say, “the higher, the better”! As much as like to look taller, I’m now scared of varicose veins. Haha!
Also, the soles are anti-slip, which is very important. Do you want to get noticed just because you’re having a hard time walking or because you slipped? Of course NOT! A woman who can walk with confidence is the real head-turner.
