If you read my previous post about Shopee, I was recently introduced to this new app where one can buy and sell easily. So, I tried it right away and started selling some of the things that I wanted to let go of. At first, I thought it’s not as quick and easy as they say. You know, ads can be misleading sometimes. But I was wrong. I was surprised I was able to upload 10 items in just 5 minutes!

You start by taking a photo of the item you want to sell. You have the option to use the Shopee app camera, choose from your stored photos, or import directly from your Instagram account. One thing I noticed, though, is that the quality of the photo is downgraded.

You can edit the photo – crop, rotate, adjust the brightness, etc.

Then, simply fill out the details – Product Name, Description, Category, Price, and Condition.

And that’s it! Click Submit and it’s automatically uploaded to your Shopee online shop.

With those easy steps, you don’t have to be an experienced online seller to start posting your items.

Plus, the Shopee Guarantee has both the buyer and seller covered when making transactions. Shopee collects the payment through their Shopee Guarantee bank accounts when the buyer hits Checkout. Shopee will confirm the payment and inform the seller to ship out the item. Once the buyer receives the item, Shopee deposits the payment straight to your bank account.

There’s also a Seller Assistant to help you manage your shop. Even if you’re a newbie seller, you won’t have to panic with all the orders you’re getting. You can easily track them in this page – what should be shipped out, what’s currently shipping, and even your income.

And as a buyer, searching for items is easy. You can go through the Categories or use the search bar. In just a few clicks, you can already place your order.

Oh, and if you’ve seen the tabs at the bottom of the page, you can also Follow your favorite sellers. This way you get first dibs the moment they upload new items.

I also noticed that most of the items listed at Shopee are priced low. I think it’s because they don’t collect any fees and commissions from their sellers.

Overall, I like the selling and shopping experience at Shopee. Everything’s made easy for both parties. Most importantly, it’s designed to protect both buyers and sellers. They try to eliminate dishonest sellers, at the same time, limit buyers who back out. Good job, Shopee!

For now, I’ll continue snapping photos of my items to be uploaded at Shopee! Check them out here: shopee.ph/angelan. And of course, for my readers, you can get a P250 discount on your entire purchase with the code: ANGEL250! Happy shopping!
