It’s not a secret how much I love to collect eyewear. I consider it as one of my weaknesses. I don’t know why, but it’s probably the mystery it brings to the wearer. Plus, it’s a go-to fashion accessory on a lazy day. No need to conceal those eye bags if you had a late night. Just put on your huge sunnies and you’re instant glam! So when I got an invite for a press presentation of the luxury eyewear Fall Winter 2015 collections, no doubt I had to go – even if I would come straight from the airport (just arrived from a vacation that day).
I, together with Jackie Go of Go Jackie Go, checked out the latest eyewear for this season at Eye Society, the country’s premier eyewear boutique and home to the finest selection of globally celebrated eyewear brands such as Prada, Michael Kors, Versace, Ray-Ban, Miu Miu, and a lot more.
Luxury Eyewear Fall Winter 2015: Prada
Inspired by a return to nature and showcasing the utmost craftsmanship, this limited-edition collection marries contemporary design with black walnut and ebony Malabar wood in either round or square shapes. with the natural irregularity of the wood’s veining, each pair becomes a unique creation.
Prada’s famous baroque style in wood finish is surprisingly light! In the first photo above, Jackie’s wearing the wood finish, while I’m wearing the hand-stitched leather. Prada never disappoints.

The white is very Madonna, don’t you think? I feel it’s a classic, at the same time, very glam!

Inspired by the timelessness, craft and innovation of he brand’s Burberry trench coat fabric, Burberry Eyewear unveils its latest collection that embodies the effortless elegance and natural sophistication of the Burberry girl. The trench knot motif cast in gold or twisted gabardine temples add classic sophistication to each piece.
The detail of the temples is very unique. I’m actually liking the frames (since I think I need to wear eyeglasses soon).
Luxury Eyewear Fall Winter 2015: Dolce & Gabbana

A vintage brand, Ray-Ban is as current today as much as it was in 1937. The Iconic Aviators and Wayfarers go through a new process to make them appear as if they were passed down from generations. Treated with a special “worn effect” of special markings, each pair of Aviator Distressed and Original Wayferer Distressed becomes a unique expression style.

Ray-Ban: Break The Mold
The Modern Round collection includes Round Metal, Round Camouflage, Round Fleck, Round Youngster and frames Round Highstreet. First launched in the 1960’s and inspired by the era’s counterculture, the Round was made even more famous by music legend John Lennon. This universally flattering shape now comes with new lens treatments and frame materials aside from the original metal.
Wood Clubmaster
For the first time ever, the timeless icon Clubmaster is treated with this simple material for a classic yet modern look. It comes in three varieties: Walnut, Maple, or Cherry, each with different colored rubber inside. The frames are treated then lined for the utmost in comfort, flexibility and durability.
The wood Clubmaster is probably my favorite from this collection. What do you think? 😉
