Happy New Year loves! I decided to rest for a few days and spend time with family and friends during the holidays, which is why my first post for 2016 came a little late. Sorry about that! Well, it was a good decision. I had a great time. Being with the special people close to you is always a good idea, right? It was also a time for me to ponder what happened the past year. It went by so fast, but looking back, it was an excellent year. Of course, there were ups and downs, but I always choose to see and cherish the positive things that come my way and learn on the mistakes I’ve done. Life is too short to live on hatred and regret. Positivity it is!
Well, my 2016 started really great. I was just MIA here in my blog, but I made sure to keep you guys entertained in my social media accounts. And if you haven’t seen my Instagram (@lush_angel), I went on another adventure at the start of the year! Just last weekend, I decided to go for a mini hike. That’s what I thought. Little did I know I had to climb rocks! But of course, when I reached the peak, it was very fulfilling. Well, that’s another story and it deserves a separate post.

The pair has been one of my fave go-to outfits ever since I got it online. The top and the bottom are actually sold separately. Good thing I stumbled upon them. Well, I love browsing the internet to look for great finds that are not so common in malls. Online shopping is fun and easy that I sometimes spend hours searching!
In this outfit though, I paired it with black culottes. And since it was just a casual day, I used nude flats instead of wearing heels. I also wanted my hands free from anything since I was doing my Christmas shopping that day. Hence, I used a crossbody bag.
