After my top 3 favorite temples in Cambodia, Siem Reap (you can see these posts here: Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Banteay Srei), I’ll share other popular tourist destinations in the area. Another famous temple is Ta Prohm. If you’re a fan of the movie Tomb Raider and Angelina Jolie, then this is a must visit. It was used as a location in the film.
Ta Prohm has a different appeal compared to other temples in Siem Reap. It was left almost untouched, as seen in the jungle-like surroundings and trees growing out of the ruins. I’ve never seen such huge trunks and roots before. They’re really amazing! And just like other temples, the walls have intricate carvings as well.
