M.A.C. has always been known for their makeup. When new lipstick shades are released, you literally have to rush to their store or you mind end up devastated because they’re already out of stock. Their iconic shades sell like pancakes and we all know why – they’re GORGEOUS! Now, what if I tell you M.A.C. just launched six new perfumes inspired by their most iconic lipstick shades??? Yup, yup! Check them out:
Because scent and lips create irresistible chemistry…
Lady Danger thrills with notes of wild cherry and Ruby Woo goes bold with whiffs of deep red leather. Notes of saffron, incense smoke, and cordovan leather surprise and intoxicate in My Heroine. Candy Yum-Yum conjures tropical fruit and cotton candy and Velvet Teddy calls forth wild honey and creamy musk.

Ruby Woo: very matte, vivid blue-red (retro matte)
Candy Yum-Yum: neon pink (matte)
Lady Danger: vivid, bright coral-red (matte)
Heroine: bright purple (matte)
Crème d’Nude: pale muted peach beige (cremesheen)
Velvet Teddy: deep-tone beige (matte)
M.A.C. Shadescents: Fragrance

Candy Yum-Yum: fruity floral gourmand

My Heroine: woody leather
Crème d’Nude: amber musk

I had the chance to try all six and my personal favorites are Candy Yum-Yum, Ruby Woo, and Crème d’Nude. For me, these are the lightest among the six scents. My Heroine is quite strong for my taste, although it’s a scent that can be used by men.

I have with me Candy Yum-Yum and as the name and the color of the lipstick suggest, Candy Yum-Yum has a sweet scent. It’s fun, youthful and upbeat – which is very much like the Candy Yum-Yum lipstick!
