A see through outfit usually suggests something daring. Yes, it could be, but could a see through clothing turn into something elegant and comfortable to wear? Here’s a style idea on how to wear a see through blouse.
Not everyone is comfortable wearing a peek-a-boo outfit, especially in public. I feel you. So if you want to try this look but quite uneasy, go for lace see through long sleeve top– just like what I’m wearing here.
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical to wear this in an afternoon event, but I thought I wouldn’t have time to change for my dinner. To my surprise, I didn’t feel bare wearing this. The feeling that the top has long sleeves made me feel secure despite wearing just a bra underneath. Of course, you can always opt for a camisole instead.
Now, what to pair it with? To balance the look, I wore linen pants. We are aiming for an elegant look so wearing a see through top and short skirt wouldn’t really be an excellent idea. Balance is the key.
I wanted to be comfortable since it was a full day for me– and when I say “comfortable”, it meant ZERO heels for me. Who said you can’t look elegant without heels? Although heels can dress up a look in an instant, it doesn’t mean you can’t wear flats. For this outfit, I chose to wear woven leather loafers.
To be honest, most leather loafers I’ve tried are uncomfortable. I find them painful and hot. This pair isn’t! It’s the most comfortable loafers I’ve tried. The leather is so soft that I could wear it even for long walks. I’m so happy I found this pair!
Now for the makeup look… clean makeup look isn’t always boring. Although it’s the safest, you can still make an impact. How?
- First, a flawless base is a must to perfect this look. This means no caking all throughout the day.
- Also, brows should be on point.
- Next, go for perfect nude lips.
- Lastly, go big on highlighter. Shine but not in a greasy way. Shine like a diamond!

And how am I able to get this sleek hair? Well, of course, I had to iron my hair but as a finishing touch, I used a new discovery– Perricone Pre:Empt The Fixer Solid Oil. This helps tame frizz and all the hair strands sticking out. It’s actually a multi-purpose product since it can also be used on dry patches and unruly brows.
