In the corporate environment, which I am part of, most companies usually allow dress-down Fridays. This means, we can do away with our corporate clothes. It’s actually one of my fave days of the week (aside from weekends… Bwahahaha). Since I can wear anything casual, I feel more relaxed at work. No matter how my Fridays can be so busy, it still feels lighter than any other work days. Wearing corporate outfits, on the other hand, seem to be more uptight, which forces me to be more focused on work. This perfectly shows that the clothes you wear can definitely affect your mood. 🙂

I always look forward to Fridays (who doesn’t? Hehehe!) coz it means wearing comfy clothes (and weekend is nearing  Hehehe!).  I always prepare my clothes the night before so that come morning, all I have to do is shower and get dressed.  Last, last Friday was an exception though. I wasn’t able to plan what to wear in the office the night before, which is so not me. When I woke up in the morning, I couldn’t decide what to wear. I ran out of jeans to wear. I didn’t realize that I left all of them at home. For those times that I don’t wanna think of what to wear anymore, the obvious choice is to wear a dress. No need to think of what top would match with what bottom. The problem, all my cover ups were left at home too! 🙁 Well, maybe not all. Some of them are probably just inside my closet. I just didn’t have the time to look for them since my cabinet is such a mess right now. Hehehe! Anyhoo, with such a little time to prepare, what did I end up wearing?

I quickly unpacked my luggage. Yes, I haven’t fixed my stuff since I got back from Hong Kong. *gulp* Got one of the tops I bought in Zara, which I was supposed to give Arthur as “pasalubong“. Wore a plain white tank top I found inside my closet. Got my new liquid leggings from H&M. Grabbed my patent booties from Janilyn. Then accessorized! Result… Tada…

 boyfriend plaid shirt liquid leggings

For those who have been asking, yes that red plaid polo is Arthur’s! 🙂 It literally is a boyfriend shirt. Hahaha! 🙂 Since I can’t look for any cover up at that time, I sort of borrowed my boyfriend’s polo. I got that for only HKD 150 (Php 930) at Zara since they were on sale. 🙂 As for my liquid leggings, I got it in my recent Hong Kong trip at H&M for only HKD 149 (approximately Php 925). If leggings are very comfortable in itself, this one is just the best! I have a number of leggings and most of them I bought for less than Php 300 only. As for this liquid leggings though, I’m definitely willing to shell out more! It feels silky and smooth. I feel I’m wearing nothing at all! It’s that light and comfortable! And the fit is just so perfect! No crumpled or folded parts even while I walk, which is usually my problem when buying liquid leggings. Now, with the combination of something loose on top and something form-fitting at the bottom, paired with high-heeled booties, classic handbag and the right accesories, the entire outfit instantly creates glamour and an aura of sexiness (even if I’m not…hehehe). 🙂 If you also noticed, I loosely fastened a thin black belt, which I bought at Landmark for only Php 50, around my waist so as not to look too sloppy. It does add some drama to my boyfriend shirt. 🙂

h&m accessoriesAs for my accessories, I got my bangles and cocktail ring from H&M again. I bought them on regular prices, though they are still very cheap. The bangles are priced at HKD 69.90 (around Php 430) and the cocktail ring is around Php 600 plus, I think (Sorry, I forgot the exact price, but I’m sure its more than Php 500 and less than Php 900!). Awww… I just love H&M so much! 🙂 Hehehe! Usually, good quality accessories cost more here in Manila. Oh and my black necklace, it was given to me by my loving aunt, who loves accessories too! Hehehe! 🙂 And since my hair isn’t too cooperative that day, I wore a 2-strap jewelled hairband, which I bought at Broadway Gems for only a hundred plus (Again, I couldn’t quite remember the exact price, but I’m sure it’s less than Php 200 bucks… Errr… Sorry…). I also used my Chanel 2.55 flap bag to look even more glamourous. 🙂

Now, see what I mean why I love dress-down Fridays? I’m free to wear whatever, especially if I’m running out of clothes! Hehehe! 🙂 As a tip, ransack your boyfriend’s, brother’s, or even your dad’s closet and experiment. You may wanna borrow some shirts or even jeans to update your look. 🙂

P.S. Special thanks to Arthur for lending me his polo. Hehehe! 🙂
