My family and I love to eat at Red Mango in Eastwood. If you remember my post about Red Mango (you can also check it out here), it’s the only yoghurt I have learned to love. Hehehe! 🙂 And because I’m so deprived of rice here in London, I usually look for desserts after meals. I’ve been craving for yoghurt for days now. 🙁 I’ve been looking for yoghurt places around here but all I can see are bars, bars, and more bars in every single corner! And geeesh, people just wanna stand outside in the damn cold, drinking! Waaaah! Unbelievable! And yes, that’s their dinner. No food or whatsoever. Beer for dinner and that’s it! Ooooh… I can’t live with that!!! Hehehe!
Anyway, going back… After searching for days, I saw this frozen yoghurt at Tesco, their Ministop or 7-Eleven here in London. I decided to try it out since I’m craving for the taste of yoghurt already. Here it is…
Hmmm… looks familiar eh??? I was standing in front of the freezer for more than a minute as I was choosing what flavor to get. All the while I thought everything in there were ice cream. Best of all- I thought I was standing in front of a Selecta freezer! Little did I know that it is some other brand that has a very similar logo that of Selecta. Hahaha! In fact, I just only knew it wasn’t Selecta when I ate it at home. Hahaha! But anyway, I happily left the grocery store with my yoghurt. So did this frozen yogurt satisfy my craving for Red Mango yoghurt??? 🙂
Surprisingly yes! 🙂 Or should I say, it even exceeded my expectations. It does taste like ice cream but still with a bit of sourness of yoghurt. The strawberry syrup is just sooo delicious- very close to real strawberries! 🙂 Ooooh… I love it! If you bumped into this brand, I personally recommend Carte D’or Strawberry & Yoghurt Delice. 🙂
Oh, before I forget, I was able to try the Chocolate Inspiration of Carte D’or too and gosh it’s perfect! 🙂 It is close to my fave Belgian Chocolate of Haagen-Dazs. 🙂 Last week, I bought the Cookies and Cream of Haagen-Dazs since there was no Belgian Chocolate available. 🙁 And being a chocolate lover, I say that the Chocolate Inspiration of Carte D’or is way better! 🙂 Okay, I know it’s extremely cold here in London already and I keep on ranting about it every single day! And now I keep on eating ice cream! Hahaha! I know! But for some reason, don’t you just love to eat ice cream when it’s cold??? 🙂 I don’t know if it’s just me and my family, but we crave for more ice cream when the weather is really cold! Weird, eh?! Oh noez… I need to stop eating desserts NOW!!! I just noticed in my Scotland pics that I’m seriously getting fat! I feel my face is getting rounder and rounder every single day! Need to stop eating sweets here! Chow! I mean, ciao! 🙂
There really is something about tourists and ice cream. We never get tired of it. Even if it’s freezing cold. Hihi. 🙂

Agree with Kristel. Maybe even a snow storm won’t stop tourists from having their daily doze of ice cream 😉

there’s also a brand of ice cream with the same logo… we were thinking it maybe from the same group?? tapos they rename it lang depending on the country? kasi the logo is the same. 🙂 i forgot the brand here pero check ko din 🙂
actually, i saw another brand again with the same logo. i tried to search in the inet but i don’t see any article or whatever saying that it’s the same group as selecta. weird! hehehe! but super the same, even the packaging so it can probably be in the same group. 🙂
